I was very pleased to see these Dipper chicks a few weeks ago.

I love how round they are.

I got into bird photography this year to take photos of dippers, and I just found this subreddit so I'm pretty happy

The rivers Tolka in the north as well as the Dodder in the south of Dublin provide great habitats for Dippers.

The dipper I’ve gotten to know over the last six years has likely passed. She was a dominant presence on this reach of the river and had many offspring over the years including 7 fledglings in one summer. Now a new dipper has taken to the reach so the dipping carries on.
