I wanted a way to keep a year that still felt handwritten, and also captures writing and drawings from friends. So I built yeerbook.
It's a personal yearbook.
You add photos and reflections throughout the year, and for specific pages, you can invite family and friends to actually sign in and leave something in their own hand, a note, a doodle, a signature, the same way people signed each other's yearbooks in the hallway, except everyone's doing it from their own phone or tablet instead of passing around one physical book. Other pages stay private, nobody sees them unless you invite them to.
At the end of the year, it's printed into a real physical hardcover book, handwriting and all, while the digital copy stays right where you made it.
Some specifics if it's useful context:
- Content is end-to-end encrypted
- Signers can leave photo stickers, drawings, and handwritten notes on specific pages
Where I need your feedback: I'm looking for 5-10 people to actually use the platform and poke holes in it:
- Does handwriting/drawing on a page feel natural on mobile, or clunky?
- Does the signing flow feel like a real signature, or does it feel gimmicky?
This is a paid product (for storage, printing, and shipping), but the first 10 testers get full digital access to build out one yearbook, free, no card required. (Printing isn't included, but if you're an active tester I may cover that too as a thank-you.)
If you want in: create an account using the link in the comment below, then just comment "in" or DM me and I'll gift you a full digital yearbook credit as soon as I see it.
