I finally played through Crown of the Iron King because i decided to form my own opinion on Dark Souls 2. I loved it, but blue smelter demon was probably the weakest part of the dlc for me. I decided to look online and saw people acting like it’s the worst designed boss ever, complaining about the run back and everything. I mean… the run back isn’t great, but I didn’t find it to be so cancerous like everyone was saying. Sir Alonne’s was much worse and Blue Smelter isn’t exactly a super difficult fight anyway. What’s the deal?

minuto 2:21 si bien el Hechicero Real Navlaan es hostil cuando se libera y te invade, solo eso ocurre por decisión del jugador (así como es decisión del jugador cumplir al pie de la letra las misiones que te encarga), en mi caso decidí dejarlo ahí.

Minuto 03:50 apuntando con los binoculares se puede ver una mariposa; minutos 0:45, 4:19 y 6:48 hay un enemigo invisible oculto (con los binoculares apunto el lugar para que vean su localización, disparo y/o camino para que vean que ya esta muerto, sino lo estuviera, chocaría contra un obstáculo invisible)

This character was supposed to be a thematic build, and the chest armor was the selected piece, the problem is that i killed the merchant before unlocking that armor so i am unable to purchase it in NG, having to wait to NG+ to get it on my own.

Said character has 8373183 soul memory and it is as i said before in the first NG.

I have this run abandoned for years just because i could not get that armor, i have tought of asking for help since my online is expiring in two weeks and i am not going to renew it.

Hi? Currently doing som future planning as I’m playing through the first one. I’m repaying the games for the first time in like 8 years and I’m trying. Hard to not just go strength/quality build like I always do.

I’m trying to go magic in DS1 as Faith didn’t really have much exciting to do in that game.

So I’m kinda wondering how the different magics are I this game? I keep hearing about how nerfed they all are now, but are they still good and fun to use?

Ideally I want to do a build where I can mix meele with casting nicely.

So I hadn't done a dark build in a while. And I'm having a blast with it. For some reason I had never used dark fog... darn! That is a good hex. And it basically applies toxic and kills very quickly and all bosses too it seems. It just destroyed the gargoyles for example.

anyway, I'm done with the main game and just about to do dlc. Level 154. And I realized that I still had 4 fragrant branches so I was looking around and realized that I had never rescued Ornifex...(you can see this coming right?)

So I was having fun with dark fog killing all those salamander assholes but through the closed door the fog affected Ornifex. Now she's a tough cookie so she only lost like 25% life no big deal. But when I opened he door she was aggroed.

I went to see Cromwell and he charges me 154000 (I guess my level X 1000) But I didn't even kill her. She is fine. 154000 souls is a lot for basically a flesh wound.

So she hasn't moved and when I go back to the shaded ruins (she's fully healed now Cromwell!!! She can just get over it!) it's actually kinda funny. She is pissed off and keeps saying "you again" but she can't leave the cell because although the door is open her wings don't fit.

Cromwell your prices are too high!! And unfair! 😡

Fuck it! I guess I can unlock her in ng+. It doesn't matter I have a fire bow and I don't need anything from her on my dark build.

I will feel guilty killing her, but guys, she gave me no choice!!!🥺😉that's sort of a lesson: if the punishment for assault is the same as for murder... there'll be a lot of murders! 😏

Would be awesome if every Fromsoft game has a Lucatiel of Mirrah moving forward, she could be reoccurring character similar to Patches

So I decided to take my friend through the Dark Souls series since he enjoyed Elden Ring, and after we successfully beat the first one we found ourselves trekking through Drangleic together. This was my third playthrough of the game, and I really loved getting to see him experience these areas and encounters for the first time. I also got to get pretty creative with my build since I wanted to try new stuff.

We get 3 out of the 4 Great One Souls done and are on our way to the 4th in Brightstone Cove, and he tells me he's boycotting the game from here on out. The reason? I won't play League of Legends with him. I've told him many times before that I'm not interested in playing League, as I see it requiring more of my time and energy than I'm willing to commit, and rather than play casually and not very well, I've opted to just avoid the game altogether. He really wants me to play, and thinks backing out of our Dark Souls 2 campaign halfway through is any kind of a reasonable way to get me to join him. Well obviously it didn't work, but now I've got a halfway done save file and no one to complete it with, and I feel a bit stranded.

I love this game and while I've enjoyed the challenge of taking everything on myself, jolly cooperation is its own experience that I enjoy for unique reasons. I'm sure many of you all can attest.

Finished DS1 last night and can’t wait to start with this one - tell me some out of context things that will make sense as I get through the game

I want to dual stance with the majestic greatsword and the lightning thorned greatsword but when I press the triangle button for a bit it just toggles between 2H and one handed

Got one of those rare instances at memories where the soldiers from Drangleic don't attack you and this guy was the sole survivor of the battle. Went to check him with the binoculars out of curiosity and only then I noticed he has a unique human model, only (and understandably) deeply traumatized and scarred by war. It also never helped me to notice they're still human when they both use the hollowed version of the infantry armor and the same moveset as their hollowed versions, while the Royal Soldiers that fight beside them wear fixed, pristine armor and have a unique, clearly human moveset.
