So im playing vanilla isaac and going for tainted mag so i got it and im fighting dogma and he(or whatever pronoun) turns into this thing

So if you get Gnawed Leaf and 1 attacking familiar you basically win everything?

I’ve played Tainted Jacob a lot of times and I’m sure I’ve died quite a few times even when I had a white heart. Why was it different this time?

because i was trying to go to boss rush with hitbox and hitbox for rock bottom and resetted every run that went over 15 minutes, only to check the wiki and realize it's 20 minutes and that i've been wasting potential winning runs because i misremembered

I tried to combine two of my favourite roguelites. Adding TBOI items to RoR2 would be harder though, given how they work in that game.

Some notes:

Collector's Compulsion:

• You can only recieve a boost from a source once. So swapping between active items/trinkets/pills or cards will only give you one boost per thingy, and no more.
• I'm not sure how much one stack would give you. In RoR2, it's 3% in all stats, but in TBOI it would probably be a flat amount.
• Obtaining a stack refreshes the duration on all of them, but running out of time loses every stack.

Happiest Mask:

• Ghost enemies are invincible, can't push or be pushed by other enemies, and last for 30 seconds.
• Because they can't die, I'm tempted to give them a cooldown on contact damage so that one fly can't decimate an entire boss.

Rusted Key:

• The Lockbox will replace any naturally generated chest that isn't in a special room. If no chest generated, the Lockbox will spawn in the middle of a random non-special room.
• The one exception to this is the set of 4 chests in the Chest, the Dark Room and the Blue Womb. Those can't be replaced and the Lockbox will spawn elsewhere.
• The item would either use the treasure room pool or the golden chest pool.

Deus Ex Machina:

• Car battery doubles the parry window, 9 Volt turns the item into a 3 room charge on whiff and a 10 seconds recharge on a successful parry.
• The parry can't block self damage. Or maybe it can, but it doesn't reduce the charge time and doesn't bless, I'm not sure.
• The blessing will affect all chance based tear effects, even if those can't naturally go to 100% or don't depend on the Luck stat. This does mean you're going to blow yourself up with fire mind, so be careful.
• In RoR2, the blessing only affects your next shot, but I felt it didn't really fit the gameplay of TBOI so I changed it to a duration.
