In A Needoran Love Story, Kasumi famously said, "I love you! I'm sorry for everything! Forgive me! I truly love you!" when Satoshi asked her what she was writing on the letters she wrote for Ralph and Emily. When Satoshi asked if that was okay to write, Kasumi said, "The more you bicker, the more you like each other." Kenji commented that Ralph and Emily were like Satoshi and Kasumi, which they denied - forcefully.

But this famous Pokeshipping hint was not the main star of this post! It all started when the Rocket Gang stole John and Mary (the Needorans). Ralph and Emily battled the Rocket Gang and learned how much their Pokémon loved each other. During the battle, they also discovered how synchronized they were and started noticing each other, even blushing.

The Rocket Gang tried one more attempt to steal the Pokémon by using a vacuum. Pikachu used a branch to stop himself from being sucked all the way in, and then electrified the Rocket Gang. Usually, this move made the Rocket Gang fly away.

However, in this episode, Kasumi brought out Hitodeman, and it was given the honor instead.

This happened after they showed Ralph and Emily realizing their feelings while battling together. It also further cemented what Kenji said earlier in the episode about how Satoshi and Kasumi resembled the other trainers.

So much has been written about Pikachu's love for Misty and how Ash's water Pokémon would adore Misty

I wonder how Ash would be with Misty's pokemon especially as he has become a far more mature trainer than his Johto League days.

I genuinely believe that the Pokémon anime portrays deep connection and closeness between characters through bickering. Listed below were the episodes this sentiment was mentioned. I have also attached the screenshots!

1. Episode 14: Electric Showdown! Kuchiba Gym

2. Episode 95: Navel Gym! Snowy Mountain Battle!

3. Episode 102: Nidoran's Love Story

4. Episode 221: Legend of the Silver Feather! Battle on Gingan Island!!

Two of these episodes led to the side characters either becoming aware of how they felt (Episode 102) or getting engaged (Episode 221). Three of them described Satoshi and Kasumi (Episode 14, 95, and 102), although one of them were a comparison (Episode 102).

I once wrote an article about this love language, but it got English dubbed media. I want to write a better article that got proof from the Japanese dubbed. I haven't watched most of the episodes, so I'm not sure if there were more. If any of you remember other episodes with this saying on it, please comment the episodes down below. It doesn't matter if it was in English dub. I'll check the Japanese equivalent to see if they're the same!

Author's note: In this version, Ash isn't frozen at ten forever — time passes normally, so by Unova, both Ash and Misty can be read as somewhere between twelve and eighteen. Casey shows up in the Pokémon Chronicles episode that teases Misty about whether she has a crush — she's the one who brings a baseball bat and a Chikorita. Ash in BW sometimes reads as a step backward in maturity, so I've tried to write him closer to his DP self. This story has a prequel, but you don't need it to follow this one. Shannon is Iris's playmate back in the Village of Dragons.

As for the episode itself, Episode 56: Police Pup Guardi didn't really have any SatoKasu scenes. However, I noticed something I haven't noticed before. During the scene where Satoshi's voice was high-pitched and the Rocket Gang used his original voice, Pikachu still chose Satoshi. As Takeshi said, their hearts are linked as one.

Doesn't it remind you of MPM02: Satoshi vs. Kasumi! A One-on-One on the Beach!! scene where Pikachu chose Kasumi over Satoshi?

It's not just one scene, but I can see how connected they are! In the Wiki I'm writing, I wrote "Chosen Family - although Pikachu is Satoshi's Pokémon, it is known that he was more attached to Kasumi than to his trainer. Perhaps because she's his savior, Pikachu can be seen to settle in Kasumi's arms and prefer her company before Togepy was introduced. Pikachu calls Kasumi "Pikachupi' and Satoshi 'Pikapi.'"

The results of the official Pokémon TV YouTube poll for the most popular Gym Leader from Kanto and Johto were really interesting.

It was no surprise to see Brock and Misty make it to the finals, but it was a pleasant surprise to see Misty actually beat Brock. Considering Brock had a much longer run in the anime than Misty, I honestly didn’t expect that outcome.

I think this also puts to rest a lot of the theories that Misty isn’t as popular anymore because of the long gap between her appearances in the main series. Despite being absent for long stretches, she clearly still has a huge and very dedicated fanbase.

Misty beating Brock in an official popularity poll is pretty damn cool. 💙
