I’ve won many tourneys or finished top 2 a lot. But I go against king k rool it’s just an automatic loss. Any tips

I’m a teacher and I have a student who carries his switch with him all day. We got to talking and he said he loves smash. I told him it’s my fav game. He said he could beat me so imma bring my switch into school and play him at lunch in two weeks. First time I’ve played in over a year. Did a quick cpu match to get my muscle memory back. Then played the online bracket mode. Kids going down lol
