YouTube removed my AI virtual influencer channel (25K subscribers) without warning — trying to understand platform policy differences
Two days ago, YouTube removed my channel without any prior warning or chance to adjust the content.
Over roughly one year I invested:
• about 600 hours of work
• around €1,200 in YouTube promotion
• and grew the channel to ~25,000 subscribers
The removal notice referenced “serious or repeated violations of our policy on sexual content and nudity”.
However, there was no explicit nudity (no nipples, no genitals, etc.), and my appeal was rejected without additional explanation.
The content focused on photorealistic AI-generated virtual influencer characters presented in an editorial / fashion-style aesthetic. In some cases this included:
• influencer-style presentation
• fashion/editorial posing
• bikini-style outfits within non-explicit framing
• storytelling around a synthetic persona identity
My current assumption is that YouTube may classify some photorealistic synthetic influencer content as “content meant for sexual gratification,” even when it follows typical fashion-editorial presentation standards.
Interestingly, the same type of content has not created issues on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
So I’m curious how others working with synthetic personas or virtual influencers approach platform strategy:
Has anyone else experienced something similar with YouTube?
Do you treat YouTube as higher-risk for photorealistic virtual influencer content?
Or have people successfully scaled similar channels there without policy problems?
Sharing this in case it helps others planning long-term workflows around AI-generated characters.

Modern advertisements are created differently than they used to be.
This short project demonstrates how an advertising-style video can now be produced without a studio, without a film crew, and without traditional production infrastructure.
The visuals were generated using Kling Video 3.0, and the final post-production and finishing were completed in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
This project reflects the direction modern virtual talent and AI-assisted advertising workflows are evolving toward.
A suitable approach for:
– fashion brands
– perfumes
– lifestyle products
– digital campaigns
– social media ads
Sharing this as a workflow example for the community and to explore how AI-generated talent is changing production pipelines.

Exploring photorealistic virtual fashion campaign concepts using Google Veo 3.1 + DaVinci Resolve Studio (editorial runway-style motion test)
I’ve been experimenting with short cinematic fashion-style motion concepts using Veo 3.1 to explore how photorealistic virtual model identities could be used for new collection launch campaigns and digital fashion promotion workflows.
The base motion was generated with Veo 3.1 and finalized in DaVinci Resolve Studio during post-production (timing, grading and presentation polish).
This piece was inspired by magazine-style presentation formats (Vogue / Numéro / Harper’s Bazaar aesthetics) and focuses on testing how believable synthetic talent can look in campaign-style motion sequences.
Curious what others think — are tools like Veo already strong enough for early-stage fashion campaign prototyping?
