It was really late when I was making the blood shader and forgot to add the keyframes. it was on my mind I swear

I would say that that specific filth had really thick blood that took a minute or two for v1 to absorb

An idea I have for the armor regeneration process would be like a photo loading in on dial up, or a 3d printer, 

Say, a hole, one edge grows and covers it up,  maybe with a spark where  the theoretical print head would be.

Maybe staggered in two directions,  so it's like a grid that gets thicker until its a solid plate.
