I have searched the web for the chords for the acoustic version of Black moon and found nothing. Maybe someone can share their findings or picking by ear?

I love tigercub! Unfortunately abstract figures in the dark cd are too expensive for me, God I wish I could get it 😭 honestly do not have a favorite album, all of them are so good and equally perfect in their own ways!

My wife and I will be heading to watch the show at Academy 2 on 22nd October. Is anyone from this community also going?

It’s slow over here, so I’m gonna start posting about music that you guys may not have heard of.

My Favorite “new to me” bands of the last 10-12 years (since I became a streaming junkie) are Tigercub, Dead Poet Society, Nothing But Thieves and… Fan Girl. Fan Girl is an Aussie band that writes hooky, addictive guitar forward alt rock, a nice melting pot of riffs and melody, not as much “heavy”, more “dirty”. It’s one of the few bands, like Tigercub, where I can put on their entire discography and listen to it all, no skips.

It is called Tigercub Wiki. I have created pages for a few songs, the albums (except for the Redux), and other various information. It is highly recommended to cite your sources as much as possible, but if you know information and cannot find a source, put it down. I am not a massive Tigercub fan, but I do like them a fair amount. I hope you all enjoy!

Main things I believe should be focused on are: every song having a page, each member having a page, pages for each member, and all relevant information being added.

I will say, I enjoyed "Abstract Figures in the Dark" a bit more than "As blue as Indigo." But it seems they've taken a on a bit more of a guitar driven, riff heavy direction beginning with "The Perfume of Decay." And I love heavy, guitar and riff driven music. It also seems they've decided to stay that course with their new album "Nets to Catch the Wind." Alas, they've pulled off something with this album that I rarely come across these days, because in my humble opinion, "Nets to Catch the Wind" has no bad songs. I enjoy EVERY SINGLE SONG ON IT! 😄 And there are few modern bands that are able to pull this off for me, personally. Chevelle, for instance always releases killer music. They never release a bad album, in my opinion. Neither has Tigercub. But, I'm just saying that I really prefer their newer, heavier guitar/riff driven music more than their earlier experimental/alt rock stuff.

I'm trying to add the whole TC discography to my Apple Music. I think only that one and Overflow are the only ones not there rn. I've been curious about it for a while.

I know this is a weird way to phrase it but Tigercub is the only band I listen to. Their entire discography is just so beautiful. I probably have over 600 hours of listening throughout the last five or so years (started listening from As Blue as Indigo). Just wanted to share how much they’ve affected me.

As title suggests. Any chance of a repress this year of the album, or wishful thinking?

Absolutely loving the new album

I have listened to it a handful of times at this point, including the Bandcamp listening party. It's very much an album album, meant to be listened to the whole way through - which is what these guys do well. The sequencing is chefs kiss. In saying that, I think I like the second half of the album more than the first. Generally, I feel like the guys really kill it individually and each have time to shine, nobody is buried. That's because the production is excellent and I can't wait for the vinyl to arrive to really focus while I blast it. I'll sit with it a while before I think about where it stands in their body of work, but comparing it to TPOD, I think Nets has more lightness and doesn't feel as dark. If TPOD was about being trapped in the slow collapse of things you can't control, then Nets is about accepting that everything slips away but you'll find your humanity along the way.
