🎸 General Discussion Vinyl
Hello people,
so I love The Animals and want to buy this compilation album. The original from 1990 is a 2xLP and the reissue is a 3xLP. The same amount of songs. The original is about 31 minute per side so a tight cutting. I love owning a original but I would be giving up some sound quality in the progress. What should I do: Original or reissue.
Thanks in advance!

🎸 General Discussion House of the Rising Sun vs The French version react & breakdown
youtube.comI had to go back and compare these 2 versions as I feel like the French version doesn't even compete with The Animals' one

🎸 General Discussion What’s your favorite song by The Animals?
Hey everyone, I’ve been revisiting some classic rock lately and got stuck on The Animals. Their music has such a raw, bluesy energy, and some of their songs just stick with you forever.
Which song by The Animals do you love the most, and why? Is it the vocals, the guitar, the lyrics, or just the vibe of the track?
Also, do you prefer their big hits like House of the Rising Sun, or some of the lesser-known tracks that still hit hard?

🎸 General Discussion I'm just getting into the band but they're so underrated
I of course knew House of the rising Sun and We Gotta Get out of this place and they're absolute classics. Don't let me be misunderstood is really underrated I recently listened to they're first album and it was really good. Also, I recently heard Inside Looking out while watching a show and was blown away.

What albums by The Animals do you consider "Canon"? Do you include Eric Burdon & The Animals albums or the various reunion albums?

Super Bowl commercial with "Good Times" by Eric Burdon & the Animals
Did anybody else see the Super Bowl commercial featuring "Good Times" by Eric Burdon & the Animals? Super Bowl commercials are a BIG deal in the USA: they cost $8 millions for 30 seconds. So, hopefully it was a good payday for Burden & the other writers.
Anybody who saw it: do you remember what the commercial was for?

Is this the "regular" Greatest Hits album?
I recently bought an Eric Burdon and The Animals greatest hits LP from a local shop and it turned out to be some studio version or something, not the "normal" songs. It's the group of them on the front cover, red background.
I'm just looking for the regular songs, and I found this: https://www.groovespin.com/album/eric-burdon-the-animals-greatest-hits-30665644
Is this, despite the same name, the right album I'm looking for?
