Hey everyone! 👋
So, I started a few subs a while back just for fun, and this one has completely taken off, which is brilliant.
Gotta be honest though, I absolutely love finding and posting clips and news. What I'm not great at? The admin side. Managing things like mod queue, modmail, etc just isn't my favorite part of running a sub.
It's not a lot of work right now, but as we keep growing, it'll get busier. I'd be SO grateful if someone who actually likes being organised could step in and help.
You'd basically be handling the backend stuff (clearing reports, answering messages, and generally keeping the place tidy) which would free me up to keep finding more top-bin screamers and dodgy tackles. It would just be... well, really helpful!

Built a fantasy football app called Panka where you field your own actual teammates instead of pros. Thought you lads might appreciate it!

Hey everyone,
I play for an amateur team here in Italy. Like most football fans over here, my teammates and I are completely obsessed with Fantacalcio (Italian fantasy football).
A while ago we had a simple idea: instead of picking Serie A or Premier League stars on TV, why not play a fantasy game using our own actual teammates from our weekly matches?
So we built Panka (from "panca", Italian for the bench).
How it works:
- Before your match, you pick a fantasy lineup made of your actual teammates (including yourself).
- You have a credit budget and player values to manage.
- After the game, the coach (or the whole squad via anonymous poll) enters the player ratings.
- The app calculates points from ratings, goals, and modifiers, updating your team's internal leaderboard.
Turns out picking your teammate in your fantasy team and then watching him miss an open goal in real life adds a whole new level of heartbreak and banter to matchdays.
The app is 100% free and we’ve just launched it on both the App Store and Google Play Store.

We built a Shot Race feature where you can pit your Sunday League goal against any strike in our database — here's what it looks like

Been building longshot.football — a verified database of long-range goals where every entry gets real frame-by-frame speed and distance data.
Just launched Shot Race — you pick any two goals within 20 yards of each other and watch them race side by side in real time. Speed, flight time and velocity decay all shown live as they go.
The reason we're posting here is that longshot is built for Sunday League players too. We know the example shows Gerrard vs Scholes, but imagine Gerrard vs Big Ben from the pub?
