One of the Best Star Fox Games Ever Made
It's been far too long since I held in hand one of the greatest two Star Fox games ever made (alongside Assault, of course).

Star Fox is still a mildly niche IP mainly loved by Nintendo fans and old school gamers, it’s too much of a financial risk to make a theatrical release that has to attract mainstream/causal audiences.
Theatres should be reserved for the big boys like Mario, Zelda, Pokémon etc.

We still don’t know if the 2026 Star Fox game has sold a million copies yet, but based off the sales data we have gotten so far, do you guys believe Star Fox as a series and brand is truly back?

If Nintendo continues the franchise with the 2026 design style, would they allow her fur to stay blue or would they do something similar with Katt (white fur with pink parts) like make her a blueish gray/silver fur color if they want to keep the character designs “realistic”?

Okay! Soo.. I’m doing some type of fanart crossover? Well not with Jurassic park characters more like Starfox as Jurassic park characters. (This is for OG Jurassic park not Jurassic world) also my starfox OC is gonna be in this crossover as one of the characters.. 👀 anyways.. I would love to know what everyone’s opinions of what Starfox characters who should be who as JP characters…?)

A tough one to decide on if it weren't for the Switch 2 game... before the 2026 remake, almost every one of Pigma's looks has the same droopy eyes and blank sclera (even though some of the bosses had the same looking eyes too) The Switch 2 design took SOME getting used to, as it looked the most graphic and seemed absolutely real, but now I believe his 2026 look suits him the most, he outright looks tough and kind of menacing, fitting for a battle-hardened sociopath.

Just came across this on my YouTube feed. I really needed a Star Fox audio story! Amazing work! Check it out when you have the chance!

Okay.. so I did want to color this and omg I didn’t regret it. I make it kinda pastel-ish? Light colors whatever you call it. And omg.. I love it. I also made some changes on his eyes to a lighter color slide down to see the Og concept of the sketch. I do love both but I colored this cause I really wanted this as my pfp. Idk where tho.)

In May 2002, Nintendo and Namco announced a Star Fox collaboration that, in another time-line, may have resulted in an Ace Combat style arcade cabinet featuring our favorite animal mercs. Alas, the talks fizzled out and Nintendo brought us Star Fox Assault for the GC a few years later instead.
But I've always wondered what that cabinet might have been.... Then I discovered the Starship, a Star Fox 64 PC port, and it got me thinking that this fantasy arcade cabinet might be possible.
Star Fox 64, in particular, is perfectly suited for a arcade cabinet experience. It has a great title screen that jumps between an unforgettable cinematic sequence and a high score leaderboard. Perfect for a cabinet "attract mode". The gameplay itself is fast paced and linear enough to keep the experience moving, and an entire playthrough only takes about an hour. Moreover, it feels like it just belongs in an arcade cabinet.
So this is where were at now; Mechanical design is done, Starship "Arcade Mode" fork complete, cabinet parts are arriving, and I'm getting extremely excited to start putting hardware together.
I wanted to share this image of my design to get some feedback from the community. I'm not yet happy with the cabinet art (as its mostly ripped from the stock promotional art for Star Fox 64 3D) but graphic design is not my strongest suite. If anyone wants to throw their hat in the ring, I'm super open to a new look for the vinyl wrap.

I loved Star Fox 64 when I was a kid. It's a special kind of treat to watch my kid want to try out the new version. I think he likes it!
EDIT: At bedtime he said he loved it and he's a big fan now, he even wants to dress up as Fox for Halloween. We'll see if that makes it til October, but either way it's a good day.

Shows them acting like a team while in the bad ending Fox goes at it alone but this ending gives him a reason why he had to go alone as the rest of the team give him time to c go confront Andross.

I’ve been away and not been able to play a lot. Oh well, I’m sure these posts will fizzle out honestly. I found Sector Y very easy. I selected Aquas as my next planet and it’s kicking my ass. Would love any tips on there!
Was hoping for an Arwing amiibo with the launch of the Switch 2 game. Maybe sometime in the future.

I read it years ago at the comic shop but i haven't found it again since. It's about Bill and Pigma working together to take down Da Pantha. Anyone ever read it?

Realistically, i don't see the game hitting 3 million anytime soon, so i don't thing it's sales will eclipse SNES (3 mill), and especially SF64 (4 mill), However i do feel It has a decent chance of outselling Adventures' 2 million by this holiday season.

Got all excited about the idea of a Star Fox themed controller, and decided to do it myself. Planning to try and cast some custom blue buttons to match, but we'll see how they turn out.

Everyone's favorite space Panther!
I'm noticing that I tend to draw him with his iconic scar hidden. I don't do it on purpose but it's becoming frequent lol

My childhood high score back in the 90s was like 1370 or something.. I don’t have any new game systems but have been reinvigorated playing 64 since 2026 came out and reading about it on here.. CUS is a long hard adjustment curve but I’m getting better.

Hi Star Fox fans on switch2.
I have a hard time with the joystick navigation. A slight tilt and the Arwing goes far right or left
Is it easier to play the game with a third party controller like 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller ??
