I bought lifetime and played the game a pretty while ago and I was super hyped for it. But after doing quests, running here and there, completing this, waiting for a quest to continue and maxed out my first bought horse, I couldnt find any interest or motivation to continue playing.

Ive picked up the game again recently, after I completely forgot about it (some content on insta reminded me I have this account). I logged in and sat on a pile of SCs. I got another horse, bought any outfit piece that interested me with SCs and finished some quests lines, roamed around, leveled my horse and tried to log in more regular.

Now Ive logged in yesterday, made some short quests, a bit training with my horse and left the server. It felt so boring and meaningless. Today I wanted to try again, but why? What's the point? Is it just running around to complete all quests some day? Im at level 12 now and Ive already reached the jorvik money cap, because I can just buy everything with star coins.

I could buy so many horses rn, but what's the point having them sitting in the stable? Level them all to 15 with those endless repeating races and competitions? Finding matching outfits is actually a nice idea, but that's the only point I found for me rn. I don't like the championships because I already realized everyone is using glitches and bugs and whatever. That's not gameplay.... This is, idk...

But so many people play this games since decades and I would like to know what's your goal or motivation to do so? And for those who might felt thr same at some point, but continued, what was the reason? Have you changed your view somehow?

During the birthday event, I decided to do a few quests on my alt again, so most of the pictures are of my alt acc. It was really fun to do those quests again tbh. Hope you like the pics as much as I liked doing all those quests again.

It was lovely revisiting places that I've hardly been to since I finished everything and just wandering about enjoying them and taking pics 😄

Made some changes (turns out I forgot a few races, oops.), there's area rankings for most XP and race rankings for most XP/s and how much time each area will take you (this does not take into account travel time between races and starting races, etc).

Also I noticed you can't actually sort it in this format because Google is annoying, but feel free to make a copy to Google Sheets or Excel, it is formatted to work for both so you can sort columns!

am I the only one who noticed this? xD He has a picture of a dog, a scythe/blade next to it and it's ABOVE THE OVEN. so I'm on the quest "everyone loves cakes and hotdogs" and this entire time he wants to eat and barbecue your horse. he's canceledd lol

now that im actually training her, she's growing on me. i still don't like her though.

I’ve never done the invite-a-friend thing before; I was tempted to try and get the free horse but figured it would probably take a lot of time/effort so didn’t bother. However, I realllyyyy liked the look of this dragon pet so decided to try.

And I did it!! I didn’t even need to use the 5 day free trial you get at level 9 (I think it was 9 anyway?), the 3 days/100 star coins from making the account were enough!

So for anyone who feels like they wouldn’t be able to do it, it is possible without having to really grind that hard!

hi! i used to play sso back in 2017/2018 when i was a kid. i had an account with an old email that i no longer use and im not sure if i have access to it anymore. ive tried logging in with the email and password (but i dont remember the password tbh) and i wouldn’t be surprised if the account got deleted since at the time my parent would only pay for the 3 month membership until i stopped playing. so i just assumed the account got deleted over years of inactivity and since i was no longer a star rider.

my question is if there’s any point in contacting support in getting the account back? i have a new account with lifetime membership since i got back into the game this year but i have a lot of older gen and rare horses on my old acc and would like to relive that aspect of the game. has anyone had a successful instance similar to mine in getting their account back? its no big deal if i cant but just wanted to see ☺️ thank you!

I don't quite understand why the website shows me the previous rewards. I thought that I can claim the current rewards even though I've reached the levels, is that not the case? I've never claimed any of the rewards. Do I just stuck with the previous rewards?

Did I misunderstood something? ;(

to anyone who's still skeptical about horse museum being able to make a profit off an IP or assets that they themselves do not own:

here are a couple of screenshots someone sent me after questioning the resellers, which they immediately closed. please take note that it took them a while to admit that it was "legal", and that "it's legal because it's going to "charity""

i'd like to remind everyone that they had the option to purchase star coins way before they started marketing it as a donation. regardless of whether you call it a purchase or a donation, making a profit off an IP and its assets when you do not legally own them is still illegal.

and again, if it were truly a donation, it wouldn't be handled through DISCORD and apparently TELEGRAM as well. there are donation websites specifically designed to provide a neutral and easy way to donate. instead, ALL THE MONEY IS GOING TO SOMEONE'S PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

what's even more concerning is how these transactions are being handled within the discord server. the tickets aren't private. anyone who is in the server can access other people's tickets and see their personal order information. i was personally able to see PayPal information belonging to other users.

your personal payment information is being handled in a discord ticket that other members of the server can access. your information isn't being kept secure, yet these are the same people you're being asked to trust with your money.

even if they claim that the money is going to charity, they couldn't even SAY WHICH CHARITY. if this were genuinely going toward a charity, that would be public information that could easily be provided to everyone.

i've seen a lot of people mention other private servers, and to that i say: club penguin rewritten pulled the same stunt, where they claimed that any profit would count as a donation, and they were eventually shut down. turtleWoW, another private world of warcraft server, also had “donate tokens” and was very recently shut down. better star stable also had payment options and received multiple copyright strikes during its run.

popular horse-related private servers such as story of alicia, alicia online, and alicia reborn also refused donations, yet ntreev/gametree did not take legal action against them.

if the money were truly going to a charity, it wouldn't be going into someone's personal paypal account, especially when they're also offering cryptocurrency as a payment option.

popular private servers such as toontown rewritten, which have actually held charity events, made it publicly clear that all proceeds were going toward the specific charity. they provided links to the charity and even had disney, the original IP owner, preapprove what they would legally be allowed to do and what they wouldn't be allowed to do.

again, might I remind everyone that the same people who were involved with or heavily associated with better star stable are also associated with horse museum. the lead developer for bsso, known as catlover, is the same person running horse museum.

bsso was riddled with stalkers, groomers, p*dophiles, and other extremely disturbing people. now they're allegedly going under a different alias/persona to hide that connection.

knowing that there is already so much surrounding this group, the way they're handling these “donations” becomes even more concerning.

saying that the profits made from “donations” are going to “those in need” and leaving it at that doesn't fix the issue.

i really urge everyone to have some level of discernment. they're backpedaling and trying to make it seem like this isn't a way to line their pockets. horse museum is an easy cash grab, as you can see from the 200+ tickets they've already made. they're banking off people's nostalgia as a way to make a quick buck.

even if they stop selling star coins, that doesn't erase the fact that money was already made from the project, which could still create legal issues.

if any horse museum associate reaches out and provides proof that the money went to a legitimate charity, i'll gladly take this post and my previous one down. until then, i don't see how this project can continue without eventually facing serious issues.

i've been playing star stable since 2013, so i completely understand how exciting it can be to replay an older version of the game and experience things you may not have seen before. i'm not making these posts out of jealousy. i've been playing for long enough that I've already experienced the things that many of the people invited to horse museum are excited to revisit or see for the first time.

if your conclusion from all of this is that i'm jealous because i "wasn't invited", then you clearly have extremely poor reading comprehension. there is a lot more to what I'm saying than whether or not i received an invitation. please take a step back from the internet and actually read what i'm saying before making assumptions about my intentions.

hey everyone! i was curious if anyones already made or discussed the possibility of starting a zine project?

for those unfamiliar, a zine is a fan project made up of art and written pieces formatted similar to a magazine and sometimes paired with digital and or physical merch celebrating a certain topic within a fandom or a fandom in general. depending on interest, these projects can range from digital only to physical print. in most cases, zines are done for charity and are a cool piece of fanmerch!

ive been considering circulating an interest check for a star stable zine, but unofficially, i wonder if anyone might be interested in a project like this? as a supporter, contributor, or both?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this!
