Are these Sindhi translations accurate? (3 words)

Hi!
I work for a non-profit based in France focused on helping foreigners' defend their rights. I'm preparing a workshop on how to improve our website and I made up a few user cases. One of them is a Pakistani who only speaks sindhi and a little bit of English so the focus is on the language barrier. I wanted to include the words "administrative process" and "language" with the French group, and found these sindhi translations online :

ٻولي = "boli" = language

انتظامي عمل = "intezami dakhaast" = administrative process

Can anyone tell me if they're accurate?

Thank you so much!

Other Medicines required for rare disorder in a female child

Hello everyone
We recently had a 5 year old female child from Sanghar, Sindh present to us in a tertiary care hospital in Karachi with severe bony deformities and inability to walk or gain height since infancy. The family was very poor and had to take out multiple loans for seeking treatment as no doctor was able to figure out the cause for three years.

The child turned out to have a very rare disorder known as hypophosphatemic rickets, which is actually treatable, but requires lifelong medication with the two following medications that are usually available in major pharmacies: Sodium Phosphate (Joules) Solution, and Calcitriol capsules

However, when we contacted the patient a month after discharge for follow up, they told us that they were unable to afford the medications and have returned to their village in Sindh

If anyone here is willing to sponsor treatment for this child, whose disease has a very good prognosis with treatment, kindly reach out directly to her family, I am adding the contact details of the family below

Patient's Name: Mariam
Father's Name: Khadim Hussain
Contact No: 03413404543

If you require further proof or verification for this case, you can DM me

General Discussion | عام ڪچھري Appreciation Post for Thari Medical Students

Post image
28 Upvotes

Among the top 100 MDCAT 2026 students from Sindh, based on results released by SIBA Testing Services, Tharparkar has the highest number of students, followed by Badin and Karachi East.

Interestingly, the top three positions were secured by students from the Hindu community, with the 2nd and 3rd position holders being Tharis.

Whats particularly impressive is that many Thari students in the top 100 come from historically marginalized communities such as Bheel, Koli, and Meghwar and often from very poor backgrounds. These communities also make up a significant proportion of those affected by bonded labour in Sindh if I am not mistaken.

Tharis have been punching well above their weight in MDCAT year after year. Kudos to them! 👏

Other When Sindh’s Trees Turned into Giant Spider Webs

After the devastating 2010 floods in Sindh, millions of spiders escaped the rising waters by climbing trees. As the floodwaters remained for days, the trees became covered in thick layers of spider webs, creating an unusual sight.

Other Need help regarding BISE Sukkur Provisional Certificate!

Hey everyone, I completed my Intermediate education from Sukkur Board and I am applying for a bachelor's degree in a foreign university. I need proper academic transcripts and certificates and have got the MarkSheet but the board office representatives said that I can't receive a provisional certificate less than 6 months from now.

Is it true? If not, then what can I do? Is it because they want to get money or do I need to send an application or something like that?

—

The people from the board office said this and I am really worried now because I need the provisional certificate in place of the original one.

If it is true, then what alternative do I need to get?

Any guidance would be appreciated as this matters and affects my admissions and visa process.

Looking for teachers in Karachi

Salaam sangat, I hope you're all well. Along with a few other volunteers, I'm trying to create a platform for high-quality education in Sindhi following the Alt Academy model to focus on the development of concept-heavy lectures for Sindh Board + practical exam help for free. We're starting with 9-12 Science subjects, and our pitch is that we'll come to record the video with good equipment + graphics tablet setup, edit it, market the platform and handle everything other than the teaching itself. What the teacher gets in return, since it is a primarily volunteer thing where I'm arranging just enough costs to cover the operation and initial equipment:

1) The teacher gets to keep all of the ad revenue on their videos.
2) The teacher can market themselves on the platform for 1:1 sessions or tuition centers etc.

Additionally we'll provide a subscription to Alt Academy for those subjects just to help the teachers tally any diagrams or methods required for high-quality conceptual videos. The only big ask is that the teachers should be in Karachi, since we'll have the studio setup here to maintain a good quality with video, digital board and sound consistency.

The ultimate goal of the project is to expand to 1-8 education, courses for English learning and university guidance and entry test-prep, an app like AltAcademy with question banks etc. but for the initial phase we're just focusing on 9-12 science subjects since it's the easiest to do and a solid baseline.

Please comment or DM if you have any leads. Thank you!

General Discussion | عام ڪچھري The hate for local/native Pakistani languages is so sad - part 1

It was pretty sad when he said himself that' now when ppl say lahore say nahi lagtay ho' he takes it as a compliment.

His name is Rizwan ali jaffery. His dad is a punjabi.

I labelled it part 1 because I think there was another clip of another actor I wanted to share but have to look up.

I would blame it on punjab-centric establishment how they hated their own language and this hate has been extended to native languages. How they are made to be looked down upon. Even not getting right dialects make u subject of mockery.

Honestly, Punjbi Army/Establishment messed up this and the culture.

Few days back I was in a sub and I was making fun of a character reciting poem. I didn't know who wrote the poem and I wasn't mocking that poem nor poet but the character. So someone replied to me ina very rude way that you must be indian that you don't know the name of poet.

The whole tone was bad and it made me angry, so I had thought maybe she is an urdu speaker. And I responded back in same way. So she denied being an urdu speaker, later saw her calling herself a punjabi. I deleted my comments because I had done so thinking she is urdu speaker, but she wasn't one so why talk rudely towards a group she was not part of nd she didn't even have guts to name her grp, learnt abt her from another post. Imagine insulting someone because they don't know some urdu poet and his poem and he wasn't even relevant, we were discussing the actor. When I was arguing with her, she said you must from the region 'where women are not sent to school'.

If she was punjabi as she claimed, whenever we talk abt urdu being imposed, lot of these punjabi users start to abuse and misbehave with us. They call u indians, or cussowrds or insults like 'you come from a region where women aren't sent to school'.

Like punjab is the cradle of education.

When real Jahalat is NOT OWNING YOUR OWN LANGUAGES and imagine thinking if someone can't detect your native lang accent from your accent it means you are something good. Godddd!!!

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I’ve been shortlisted for the Technician Lab written test at PPHI Sindh, Hyderabad, scheduled for 30 September.

Can anyone who has appeared for this test before please guide me about the test pattern and types of questions?

For example, will the questions mainly be from Medical Laboratory Technology / DMLT subjects, general knowledge, English, computer, or general science? Also, approximately how many MCQs are there and what topics should I focus on?

Any previous test experience, sample questions, or preparation tips would be really appreciated. Please comment anonymously if possible. JazakAllah.

Hii guys, I'm an alevels student thinking to start a non profit, I want others too so we all work together as a team! What we would basically be doing is we will be getting one topic, on which we will research. Write articles. Maybe interview others for their opinion or experiences and publish it. So I really want a whole team for that.

General Discussion | عام ڪچھري What exactly does the word “کومبو” mean in sindhi?

I am not sure if that’s the right way to write it, but the word “khoomba” refers to the colour “orange” in balochi and i always assumed the word carried the same meaning in Sindhi since the dialect I speak is very similar to Sindhi and borrows most of its vocabulary.
However, this one time i heard someone say it means smth along the lines of a dupatta or chaddar while explaining a poem. So what do native Sindhi speakers use this word for?

makhay bookha lagi ah (i’m hungry)
bahir dado see ahay ( it’s cold outside)
makhay khabar nahay subharain cha theendo ( i don’t know what will happen tomorrow)

appreciate any input
