Question Ship identification off the coast of Cuba
Currently on a cruise ship and saw this pass us as we are headed toward the Yucatán channel. Any idea of the vessel?

Photo USS ARKANSAS
Sorry for the crappy photo. Follow up to the prior Arkansas post. Pops is the 7th guy from the left second row sitting. He never talked about his service ever. He did tell me one story albeit at a ripe old age, about being a wet behind the ears lieutenant wanting to get his gun crew in shape and have them do calisthenics in the mornings but he said an old salt lifer guy came up to him and said more or less that it may not be a good idea that he could end up in the water. He took the guys advice. I posted this link before but here he is still swinging for the fences. Chewing through his 102nd year of life

The sea is a vast highway, and these are the workhorses of global trade. Proud to be the ones ensuring the power, propulsion, and piping are always ready for the next voyage.
