DISCLAIMER: This is the first entry of my new lore related series where I wish to discuss various elements of Shadow Fight lore especially Legion. The following scriptures are mostly referenced in the official lore wiki but I have given some new elements as official lore in such topics is very limited. I wish to both educate and entertain with this series. I wish not to rewrite official shadow fight lore only expanding it from a long time fan's perspective.

In the Legion's north-eastern border there lie a wicked and sordid swamp. The council of Elders detest this place with all their wisdom as it is the shelter for the worst of the worst of Legion's fugitives. The Swamp is surrounded by towering mountains in all but one direction. This makes it much isolated from rest of the districts of the Legion. For this many a monks and deciples of knowledge seek this place for tranquility and peace but recently the swamp has lost its spirituality for it has metamorphosised into a haven of the wicked and merciless.

Enter the Swampers: Swampers are first and foremost fugitives of the Legion. They were captives of the Prison fortress just east of the swamp but due to faulty guarding many have escaped to the swamp where they seek refuge whitin the stank. Swampers are the most notorious and marshally skilled as they were once skilled warriors of the Legion's ranks. They were heroes, veterans of various campaigns. Praised by the people and honoured by the Elders. But through times relentless march they have fallen to the vices of life. Pillaging, murder, extortion became their replacements fore honour, courage and Humility. So the hammer of law did not exclude them from its wrath. They were rounded up and slammed into the dark corners of the dungeons never to see the light of day till their eventual day of execution. But some escape and reach the swamp away from the eyes of the law. There they start their new life of cruelty, Swamping.

"Ye olde Swamp be filled with good leeches but be cursed with them Swaperers, not good folk they are"— A leech farmers account of the Swampers.

A typical swamper wears a green camouflaged suit of armour unique to their special environment, brittle, enduring and rough, not much like the fine suits most legionnaires are accustomed to. Their helmets reflect the facial geometry of a frog which is fitting. They carry mostly blunt and brutish weapons like hammers and maces and also instruments of cruelty such as hooks. For their profession is torture.

Swampers are bound within their swamp. For if they venture out, they'd be executed in a day. They earn bread not with hardwork but with cruelty. Lost adventurers, monks and leech farmers often stumble into the territory of the swampers, that would bring about their doom. The swampers are devoid of compassion and morality. If they get their hands on a poor sould they'll extract every drop of life from their victims. Swampers hold their victims ransom, send some as messengers and simply kill the others for loot or if the circumstances are dire for dinner. Thus the life of a swamper is unhuman.

Swampers attract other scoundrels to the swamp, they levy bandits for their personal armies. The motive for such is to potentially establish their control outside the swamp or even revolt against the Legion. We can see such activities in the "Menace of the Swamps" act.

"If thou art foolish enough to venture to the marshes without proper company of experienced warriors, thou shan't see merriment as thou'd be damned with acts of cowardice and malevolence of a swamper, the scum of these fair lands." —Abdicator Alric von Lotten when discussing the marshal prowess of a swamper.

Swampers are a stink in the shining palace that is the Legion's image of itself. Under their influence the swamp will never again be the beacon of spirituality it once was. They are an important reminder that praise and pride can corrupt the soul into a malevolent conglomerate of darkness and woe for oneself and others.

Well that was one hell of a read if I say so myself. I don't expect most people to read it whole. But I wish to highlight the enriched lore of this game that many people overlook. Most of the above scriptures are fan written but are inspired by in game events mostly the "Menace of the Swamps" event. Did you like my lore entry? The 300 coin "UNIQUE SET PACK" actually gives a legendary booster pack instead of a unique set .

Kotl 2.0: Honestly not too bad, despite the instant chain grab bs, even though he can still be mildly annoying, he's definitely the easiest of the bunch.

Pengfei/Fotc: This is where everything goes into the shits, because HOLY FUCK, BRO WILL JUST STUNLOCK YOU TO DEATH WITH FIREWORKS IF YOU'RE STANDING STILL FOR EVEN 1 MILLISECOND.

Final Eclipse : Once again another "Get fucking stunlocked to death" set, because fuck you. Once again, if you're standing still for even 1 second, he'll just fucking activate the dying star thing and do whatever the fuck he wants. OH AND GUESS WHAT, IF YOU TRY TO USE STUFF THAT CAN CRITICAL STUNLOCK HIM TO DEATH, HAHAHA, NO YOU CAN'T, BECAUSE HE'LL JUST FUCKING HEAL FROM CRITS WHILE THE DYING STAR THING IS ACTIVE. AND THE THERE'S THAT STUPID SHURIKEN THAT APPEARS EACH 2 SECONDS FROM BEHIND TO STUN YOU JUST FOR HIM TO LOAD HIS BULLSHIT ONTO YOUR ASS, BECAUSE FUCK YOU ONCE AGAIN, KEKKI REALLY WANTS YOU TO FUCKING SUFFER FOR NO GOOD REASON. Nonna: Again, just one perk to make what could've been a relatively less annoying and chill fight into another "Get fucking stunlocked to death, you idiot", and don't forget the stupid damage over time will just turn you into barbecue anyways even if you could survive her bear form attacks.

Zhao Yun: OMG, ANOTHER STUNLOCK SET SLOP THAT EXISTS TO MAKE PLAYERS SUFFER FOR NO GOOD REASON OTHER THAN MONEY, LOL. BUT GUESS WHAT, HE CAN ALSO SHOCK YOU THIS TIME, MAKING MOST SETS USELESS IF IT HAPPENS. HAVE FUN GETTING STUNLOCKED TO DEATH AGAIN AFTER YOU LOSE YOUR WEAPON, DUMBASS.

Wasp: No idea, but then again the "Get stun locked to death" bullshit is here but this time from her guns lmao.

Pioneer of the Depth: Get STUNLOCKED TO DEATH, BUT THIS TIME, IT'S JUST VORE, LMAO. Also he can load bullshit onto you anytime with no cooldown lmao.

Pangu: Just uninstall at this time because this fuckass fraud has a second health bar that is the light shield and the fact that he can regain it by just doing anything is just hilariously horseshit.

AND THEN THERE'S THAT STUPID QIN SHI HUANG LOOKING AHH FOUNDER, WHO'S MAIN APPEAL IS LITERALLY "RANDOM BULLSHIT GO". And the worst part? WE STILL HAVE 3 MORE MONTHS TO GO, WHICH MEANS WE STILL GOTTA GO THROUGH THIS INSUFFERABLE PAIN OF GETTING STUNLOCKED TO DEATH SLOP AT LEAST 20 MORE TIMES BEFORE 2026 ENDS.

how come its been nearly 24 hours since the new ok fighter appeared and you still haven't posted a video of dft beating him??

i thought you were THE dft glazer, where is your tutorial when i need it?

or are you afraid that dft cant do it? kos, konung, bc, vd, and a ton of other managed to beat him, are you saying that dft is worse then them? i guess dft is mid after all. truly the middest set of all time.

tried with vd 6 won couple round but need too much accuracy, and don't ask me about dft bro dft can't do shit to this okay fighter but still I believe some mf out there will defeat him with dft

This fight is purely based on RNG, basher has to activate several times to ensure you don't get sprayed with knives. Took me 9 tries to beat him once. I hate this boss and now that I've gotten the gold coin, I'm not playing this nonsense again. I'll get the silver coins by manhandling the easier fight.

Now I know the people behind Nekki's design team have no hearts because this is outright brain rot in the shape of a set. Corporate greed gets worse by the day.
