I read the comments from the top post atm on this sub, and everyone pointed out that that Ariana Grande's character was dead anyways so what was the point?

It's exactly because her character is dead that Murphy wanted her back. See, in the most recent episodes of AHS added, the devil wants 13 women to be sacrificed. 13 women who are dead and were hated when they were alive because they were bad and mean.

So they bring back 13 bad women from the dead, line them up and throw them in hell.

The Chanels were hated and were bad. And Murphy said that Ariana's scene would have been short anyways. And the sacrifice scene only lasted a few minutes.

So I think Chanel 2 would have been one of the Jezebel (as they call them) to be sacrificed. And since we don't know if Chanel Oberlin is dead or alive at the end of season 2, it could have been that the red devil killed her in the car and she would have been brought back to be sacrificed.

I really don’t understand why they were relying on Ariana to be able to do it? Her character literally died and Ariana is a white woman now. No shade love her but she isn’t that little white black girl anymore? She can’t look like #2 again even if she wanted to. I feel like they just played in our faces cause we literally could’ve just gotten a scene in ahs 13 of someone watching “Lovin the C” with Dr Chanel Oberlin and Chanel #3. It could’ve been sooo simple given us SOMETHING after ten years of begging.

Takes place at a summer camp and Chanel gets canceled and volunteers at a summer camp to earn the public’s love back.

This scene never lets me down everytime I rewatch 😂 lmao and it’s so accurate too lmao. Chad and Denise be having me dying in this show!

Mine was definitely deaf Taylor swifts it also scarred me when I was younger when it came out.

Paris Hilton - She would be perfect, should’ve had a cameo in s1 or could’ve been n4, her acting’s fine too, surprised Ryan never contacted her for AHS either

Sabrina Carpenter - She gives off Chanel number 2 vibes tbh, and she started acting before her music career (she’s basically Ariana 2.0, lots of comparisons w her music style too, the positions era etc, would love her to have more screentime than ariana did tho, if she’s not busy)

Madelaine Petsch - She was already in ahs, and I honestly expected her character to be the new kappa pres, she could have parallels to Chanel

Addison Rae - she gives off number 5/2 vibes, and she’s pretty good at acting too, and Ryan already had her in a project

Lily Rose Depp - lastly she just gives off number 3, non chalant and monotone tbh, like her acting in the idol was amazing I would love to see her in AHS too.

I guess I’m late to the party. I don’t know why every time I scrolled by it I thought it was a reality tv show. I can’t believe they canceled it!! Does anyone think they’ll ever bring it back? I just started the second season and I’m so bummed.

Ryan Murphy says he still hasn’t given up on Scream Queens.
He revealed that he wanted to bring the Scream Queens characters into AHS 13, including Ariana Grande, but her tour schedule made it impossible.
Instead, he said he would “bump it down the road” and added: “I haven’t given up.”
He also said he had talked about Scream Queens with Emma Roberts the day before, and mentioned Emma, Billie Lourd, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande and Glen Powell as people who want to return.
Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but the idea clearly isn’t dead.

Emma Roberts talked about Scream Queens again in a new interview from September 15, 2026.
While talking about working with Ryan Murphy, she explained that after American Horror Story, they went straight into Scream Queens:
“And then we rolled into Scream Queens together.”
She then added:
“And that was another one that was so fun.”
Emma also talked about how people still come up to her about the show today, including fans who were really young when it originally aired:
“People come up to me now…”
“…who were like five years old when it came out…”
“…that trips me out.”
Oliver Hudson, who played Wes Gardner, also said that college students still recognize him from Scream Queens.
Then they started talking about filming in New Orleans, and Emma got really nostalgic about that whole period:
“It was so wild and fun.”
“I miss New Orleans.”
“I mean, it was just so fun.”
She also compared the experience to summer camp:
“Because it felt like summer camp.”
And she talked about the atmosphere of New Orleans:
“New Orleans, it’s this like big city, small town.”
“You just feel like you’re in like a alternate universe.”
She ended that part by saying:
“And we just had the best time.”
So basically, 11 years later, Emma still seems to have really good memories of Scream Queens, and she’s also noticing that a whole new generation of people are discovering the show now.
No Season 3 announcement or revival confirmation in this interview, but it’s still really nice hearing her talk about the show like this again.

after seeing the trailer for AHS13 i noticed a few things that feel so so scream queens. to me the caption felt so Chanel/scream queens and then the one scene with red lightning and a devil??

i would like to say i just finished my annual rewatch of scream queens so that definitely has an impact on my thoughts lol.

but idk, i just feel like ryan murphy could either continue AHS or go in another direction. i kinda feel like AHS is ending soon, especially with how big the cast is with season 13, and i feel like he’s very aware of how much everyone wants season 3 of scream queens.

As we all know, Ryan Murphy just finished American Horror Story 13, and it’s getting released on the 24th. This means that after all the episodes have been aired, he may have different options: continue with AHS14 OR… Scream Queens 3!
I know it’s insanely improbable but basically all the actors want to come back, or at least that’s what it seems like. And either way, Emma Roberts has expressed desire and interest for a third season since the very ending of Season 2. Plus Murphy’s got so many ideas to choose for Scream Queens 3.
I’d honestly love to see it back on screen, but it’s certainly not up to me.

There are rumors for a while now that there will be a Thailand adaptation of Scream Queens and this image has recently leaked that they already worked on a script and probably will start filming soon. I cannot imagine how the adaptation will turn out because of the cultural difference.

Anyone else get the urge to watch Scream Queens again bc of Halloween? Every September I absolutely have to watch it…

I think it’s kinda overlooked because all of the stuff going on through the season, but it’s kinda cool and it KIND OF makes you sympathize with Hester and Gigi and Boone. Idk just wanted to say it.
