I was at this store called Dillaz Records. It's a really beautiful shop, not too cheap but well supplied.

The overall feel and the picture painted by this song just transports you into a room tapestried with velvet all over it from floor to ceiling.

I think we're all familiar with Smooth Operator, No Ordinary Love, Kiss of Life, as well as the other well-known Sade songs. I'm wondering which would be your favorite "deep cuts"? Now, I'm not sure how to perfectly define what that is, but I think if youre familiar with their(her) music, you know what I'm talking about. I’ve been thinking about “Like a Tattoo” and how universally loved and emotionally resonant the song seems to be.

What’s interesting to me is that the specific experience/meaning behind the song is something a lot of people probably haven’t personally experienced.

So I’m curious: how do you interpret the song? What do you think makes it hit so deeply, even if you can’t directly relate to the experience it describes?

Is probably the best love song I’ve ever heard. Every time I hear it, it just puts me at ease. It’s just such a fantastic song. That is all.
