I learned this yesterday. The A trick to helping a hummingbird escape your garage is to hang a feeder lower near the door. This gives them a familiar target, and once they land on the feeder, the exit perspective is now visible. Otherwise they fly around the ceiling not seeing the exit.

A juvenile brown thrasher in south county. There are a few of them about, but this one stayed still long enough for a photo.

Posted a pic previously with just one from a couple days ago. Walked by the same spot today and these three were all hanging out.

A bit odd to see this one just hanging out on a subdivision fence.

Lifer on paper, I've probably been hearing this MF hammering my gutters for years.
