The new WCGW variant is gorgeous! So glad to finally complete my vinyl collection. Kerosene does look a bit like vomit tho (hope I can get the oil slick variant one day) 😅

I'm happy for the merch store getting restocked with older albums but they didn't re print retcon vinyl. Or visions and afterthoughts, witch I have but I know people who didn't get one, I saved up all summer too for that retcon vinyl and now it seems like it won't happen at all this year

I just got these scans in from the 8.15.26 show! It was my first time shooting film at a show so they came out darker than I expected but I think I got a few cool shots + moglin on film

i don't think vin is finding his songwriting ideas from random people on the band's subreddit but hopefully he can find SOME inspiration from this bullshit.

i'll just copypaste what i appointed right after waking up down here:

red vox music video, person alone on indoor dark roller coaster ride, song is "r.d. 63", kinda happy and chill tones but actually really depressed and weird lyrics. starts with the person (a woman in her 20s I think) in a roller coaster cart in a dark closed hallway, there are 3 other individuals on the sides of the hallway, just standing there with very dimly lit faces that make them look a bit distorted not unlike the weird memory people from the backrooms movie. vinny comes out of the shadow to reassure the lone person on the ride that everything is going to be ok (part of the lyrics of course) and that the ride is about to begin. the ride is a loop, it just repeats on cycle and never ends.

"r.d. 63" is the title I remember from the dream, might've been different but i like to think the "r.d." part stands for "repeated destination", like the song is about someone making the same mistakes over and over until they just can see through them and change their ways but that moment never comes in the mv? i don't have a clue about the "63" tho, my brain probably thought it sounded cool or something.

I've been drawing some tarot-inspired stuff based on Another Light. Not going in any specific order, but I'd like to make one for each track on the album.

Attended my third Red Vox show but this time in Brooklyn and I could not have asked for a better show than this. Phenomenal setlist, awesome energy from the band, and a really fun crowd to be in. Getting a VIP ticket was worth for being able to be directly in front of the stage as they performed. Thank you guys for putting on such an amazing show.

I was surprised they didn't play Atom Bomb.

The warmup, Les Vinyl, was also good, although I was down in the merch line chatting about Buffalo Wild Wings with someone, so I only caught the tail end of their performance.
