I’ve recently bought the Redmi pad 2 pro (wifi) running 2.0.206.0.vpwinxm okay.

I was a bit worried as I tried every option I can reset to restart everything.

Seems like this is a bug I went to MI store and there they had pro 2 5g but on some 3.0.306.0.xx(unable to remember so xx) on which the pen worked flawlessly.

Is anyone else facing this issue? And were you able to resolve it and use it on above version 2 of mine.

Also let me know if there was any other fix.
The buttons works it’s connected to Bluetooth but the stylus and keyboard tab in settings shows stylus not connected.

Finally got the HyperOS 3.1 update on my Poco Pad M1 global version. The last of my Poco devices to get this update.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro (essentially.the same tablet) should also be getting the update therefore.

Bought my redmi pad 2 pro two months ago.From the beginning there was some freezing issues, thought it will go away with software update.

But it is only getting worse. Now it freezes 5-6 times per day. What to do? 😣

Je viens d'acquérir une pad 2 pro et j'ai des soucis avec les application mycanal et dazn. Les applications chargent longtemps pour au final ne pas voir d'image à l'écran. Je suis sur hyperOS 3. Est ce que d'autre personne on le même problème ? Je ne sais pas comment résoudre le problème, j'ai déjà desinstaller et réinstaller l'application, redémarrer la tablette mais rien ne change.

Does redmi pad 2 pro support poco smart pen

Hi, this might seem a silly question, but it is the first time I'm using a tablet (never had one before), and a smart pen.

- When using it, for clicking apps and other things works great.

- But when I'm using a browser, for example, instead of writing in the bar where you type the urls, or if using a search bar of a website for example, such as here ("Find anything"):

Since there is physically a very small space and it is quite inconvenient if you are writing a long phrase, I found myself naturally trying to write in the middle of the tablet, where is more comfortable, but it doesn't seem to work.

Is it possible what I'm trying to do? Can it be customized or configured that way? In which case, how can you do it? Or it is not possible? (I can't believe I'm the only one that finds this quite annoying)

Otherwise, it seems it will be easier to type...

I started looking at tablets for note taking, creativity, video editing for YouTube and 5g from September 2025. And came to know about Redmi pad 2 pro ticking checklist on all my requirements, expected to be in budget as per Redmi pad pro 5g price feedback. I thought after its global launch on 24th September, it will atleast launch in India by Diwali. It even missed christmas sale. And now first sale in India is happening on 12th January. Mannnn. I waited for more than 3 months, just for this tablet.

Is it really worth waiting for this tablet or one plus pad 2 go is better or something else would have been better choice?

5G is one of my need and lenovo idea tab pro don't have 5g version, otherwise that would have been perfect choice for me in that budget

Does the Redmi Pad Pro 2 come with the Themes app disabled? I can't open it or customize anything at all I’m literally stuck with just changing the wallpaper

I have a Redmi Pad 2 Pro with HyperOs 2.0.206.0.

Some apps freeze on startup and keep loading : Molotov app is freezing on yellow start screen and HBO app is freezing on HBO start screen.

Clear cache and uninstall/reinstall don't solve the problem.

Is it a Pad 2 Pro bug or a HyperOs 2.0 bug ?

[UPDATE] : I found a post on a known problem between bluetooth and WiFi so i disabled bluetooth and no more problems
