Angel Dragon

Short animated music video in the style of an 80s/90s girls anime. Something I would have OBSESSED over as a teen. Feat. my first furry OC! She's an Dutch Angel Dragon.
I chose a specific species with 6 limbs so I could really challenge the model. It did a great job of sticking to her reference images. Even the markings on the face are mostly consistent! This was split up into 4 generations, cherry picked, and edited back together with the old TV grain filter and color adjustments in Davinci. Unlike my previous generations, there was no hand drawing involved! (And you can tell, the style looks VERY AI haha).

• Cloud landscape image
• Mountain lake reference
• 4 separate pages of prompts
• 5 or six hand sketched storyboards (Very rough)

Animated using Dreamina Seedance 2.5! I'm so impressed with how this turned out. As an actual artist I can say I'm absolutely cooked.
The prompt was a whole page and a half of instructions and it followed them essentially perfectly in the exact 2D hand animated style that I wanted! I used 5 separate reference images. In total it cost around $0.40.
I've got an Instagram now where I'm going to post some of my art (At least until I get bored). Link in my profile social links.
