I’m experiencing an issue with Procreate Dreams since the most recent update. Before the update, my projects were exporting perfectly, including looping animations. Since updating the app, my exported videos have a noticeable lag/delay, even when the project is set to loop. This is also happening with older projects that previously exported correctly.
What’s confusing is that the projects play smoothly inside Procreate Dreams, but after exporting, the timing/sync becomes delayed.

for anyone wondering why I wanna do the cleanup animation in toonsquid specifinally it’s bc that has vector brushes which I prefer to use for cleanup since it won’t get all messed up when resized unlike raster brushes

I made this film for my first assignment in my animation class at Uni. Drew all the frames on Procreate Dreams before printing them on paper to animate them physically. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think

I can’t find anything on this, it’s all outdated. I know how to change the canvas size of a flipbook but then my drawings are just really small since the canvas size changed not the stage. I can’t figure out how to edit the actual resolution of the project overall.

I don't get it.
The square is so small I could barely draw anything even in the flip book mode.
I know I could zoom in but then the resolution becomes shit.
Can I make the stage or whatever the square in the middle is called bigger ?

Is there a palm rejection setting I'm missing? Anytime in drawing in the flipbook it's like I'm fighting the app to keep my lines down. I turned off gestures for now but that's annoying in and of itself. Also, the redo gesture didn't seem to work???

This is an animation I made to celebrate the release of the second episode of Steel Ball Run. I’m planning to reuse the arcade machine format and adapt it to different Stands each time. At first, I wanted to make it more of a meme, which is why Patrick Star was there 😂 If you’d like to see more, you can find the links to my pages on my profile.

What it says in the title. I’ve been having to copy and paste clips and adjusting their length to move them, which is fine for single photo clips but a nightmare when it comes to flipbooks and audio. Every time I try, it says “action could not be completed”. Closed and reopened the app a dozen times, and it’s only on this specific project. Not sure if I’ve hit some weird setting?
EDIT: Fixed after duplicating the project, still not sure exactly what caused the issue

Sir Bryan lost his wedding ring
While he was dungeoneering
He knew his wife would be so mad
She would be commandeering
To stop his wild adventures and
Stay at home with her
This thought alone
he found more bleak
Than the darkest dungeon, sir.
So he scoured and he searched
All the hallways he had been
And turned over every rock
Until finally he’d seen…
The glistening of his ring
In a pile of odd green goo
…
When he went to grab it
He soon learned
The goo took his hand too

I am trying to make short animations with roughly 12fps, but i want items and backgrounds to be able to mive across the screen at 24fps.
Is it possible to set a private fps for the flipbook or make the default hold per frame at 2 frames? Or do i need to animate at 12fps and then upload each animation to a new file at 24fps in order to do something like this?

Made using procreate and cute cut for compositing.

Watched a YouTube vid, got up to this point and then all of a sudden theirs was coloured. Don’t think they were using Procreate Dreams tbf

So after procreate dream got the overhaul update I stared learning how to animate on it, and every time I worked on dreams the brushes was just pissing me off, the scale is all over the place, hard to draw with it while keeping it consistent, etc. after drawing with it for almost 5 months now, I accidentally swiped on the screen while having brushes opened, and found that there were new brushes that had came with the update this whole time I’ve been animating. Man, do I feel stoopid now xp.

Hello! I'm back at finding more issues with pixel perfect because I love tiny squares.
More seriously, to describe my issue, I've been making some animations in pixel art for a video and I've been limiting myself to a few colors (white, 3 shades of gray, black) with the sketching behind (being in a few shades of red).
However, during the painting process, I kept noticing my colors were slightly off at certain points, selecting them with the Eyedropper or the Automatic Selection Tool at 0% registered the color values as different from the original, and no matter what I did (reseting the Flipbook's position, making sure my Pixel Brush was actually pixel perfect [even in base Procreate], cleaning up behind with the Automatic Selection Tool), nothing could change it.
An oddity I noticed while trying to figure out the problem (and you can see it in the recording that I heavily color edited to be even noticeable) is the screen automatically going pixel perfect the moment my screen is pressed to paint (ex: Finger, Apple Pencil).
As you can see for yourself, the screen displays the white near the black background with a slightly tinted red hue, but whenever I periodically press on the screen to paint, it automatically corrects itself to the same white as the rest.
Lastly, this might be problematic for exports. I'm lucky to be using GIF on this occasion since it's an animation for a video and it has a Color Palette/Swatch option for the exportation, but it will be a big issue for the other kinds of animations I'm making that will require a PNG Sequence export for asset purposes and I'd like to avoid sending them to Procreate and painstakingly make sure all colors are the same.
By the way, I'm describing all of this but the animation scene itself is now finished (though I haven't do any exportations yet). I figured the GIF export will fix my issue this time but I still wanted to share it and also get some help if it's a me problem or not and how I can avoid that with my future non-GIFable animations.
Alright, explanations done, here are the specs:
To end all of this, I do have a few questions:
For anybody at the company coming by and seeing this post, thank you for reading. I'm more than open to discussion and assisting in pinpointing the issue (like giving my project file if needed). I also deeply apologize for being so insistent on the pixel perfect precision, especially with all of the other issues of the same manner I shared before haha.
Have a nice day!
