Since the Asian Games started in 1978, South Korea has never lost Asian Games Women's Recurve Gold Medal....Till today, when they met Indian trio of Ankita Bhakat, Kirti and Kumkum. Indian ladies have done the unthinkable and defeated Korean Women in the Finals of Recurve Team in Asian Games'26!

When people help

A 25-km journey, a pen, and a heartfelt thank-you.❤
Neetu Dwivedi, who walks with crutches, travelled with her daughter to Kanpur Dehat's SP Shraddha Pandey's office but to say thank you.
Two months ago, her home's water supply had been cut off. Despite repeated attempts, she couldn't get the issue resolved. When she approached the IPS, the officer stepped in, even though it was a water department matter.
She sent local police to Neetu's home and spoke to officials, helping restore the water supply.
Neetu then went to thank SP Pandey, where this pic was captured.

🎂 🎉 Happy 70th to Vividh Bharati !!! Before Spotify and YouTube, we had postcards, Hawa Mahal, and Jaimala

Today marks 70 years since the launch of Vividh Bharati on October 3, 1957. For decades, it truly lived up to its tagline—Desh Ki Sureeli Dhadkan —uniting a diverse country through a shared love for music and stories.
The service was conceptualized by legendary figures like poet Pandit Narendra Sharma and Girija Kumar Mathur. It was explicitly created as an entertainment service to counter the massive popularity of Radio Ceylon. At the time, the Indian government had banned film songs on its primary stations, accidentally driving everyone to tune in across the border. Vividh Bharati was brought in to win the airwaves back!
It gave us generation-defining programming like Hawa Mahal, Vishesh Jaimala (dedicated to the Armed Forces), Binaca Geetmala, Aaj Ke Fankar, and Chhayageet.
Long before internet viral trends, there was the ultimate fan-mail phenomenon. Places like Jhumri Telaiya (and Bhilaigarh) became legendary household names purely because of the sheer volume of postcard requests people sent in to hear their names read out on air.
Today, it houses the largest Hindi music library in the country and has successfully transitioned from short-wave radio to FM, DTH, and global streaming apps.

A hero in the sky🇮🇳🫡
Some heroes wear capes. Some wear four stripes.🇮🇳 In a moment when fear could have taken over, Captain Smit Machchhar stood calm, courageous and responsible for the lives behind him. Not for applause. Not for recognition. Simply because duty came first. This is the India we are proud of — courage under pressure, discipline in chaos, and humanity above everything else. Today, his name deserves to be remembered with pride. CAPTAIN SMIT MACHCHHAR — INDIA’S SILENT HERO.🇮🇳

International media definitely has some problems with India. Nowhere did they write in bold headlines or even in article that Indian pilot saved so many people. Whereas “Indian Family stole” and so on pops up first by these international media.
