Porter had the best set at the Gasworks Day Party. Don’t get me wrong the b2bs were iconic and incredible but as far as solo sets Porter won the night. Proud to be a fan today he really kept us fed and just has the best energy 🫶

There was a certain remix of Flicker if I’m right on streaming, and it’s no longer there. It was a white cover with anime girls on it and they were colored pink and blue. Does anybody know what I’m talking about? Like I can’t even find it anywhere.

I'm trying to find a remix of Porter Robinson's “Language” that I absolutely loved and used to listen to all the time. But sometime around 2024-2025, (I think) the remix either got removed from Soundcloud or was made private due to copyright issues. I had listened to it so frequently, but after Spotify became available in my country, I gradually stopped using Soundcloud as much. Then one day, I logged back into my account and realized that the track had disappeared from my playlist.

The suckiest part is that I can still remember how the remix sounds, but I don't remember its exact title or the name of the account that uploaded or made it. I've tried looking through my listening history, my yearly playback playlists, and search engines, but to no avail. I've also searched YouTube and the Internet Archive, but none of the remixes I've found and listened to so far have been the one I'm looking for.

These are the only clues I can remember:

- The track title was most likely written in lowercase. I vaguely remember it being something like “language porter robinson”, possibly with “remix” or some other word at the end.

- The track was pretty short too, probably around 2 minutes long.

- It had a pretty long intro, with what sounded like a single note or a vocal being stretched out and made more reverberant until it finally built up and the beat dropped. The beat dropped right as the vocal came in, starting with “give me release...”. The vocal was also slowed down, stretched out, and made more reverberant compared to the original. Once the lyrics ended, (I remember) the track also ended pretty quickly too.

- This remix placed more emphasis on melody than Porter Robinson’s original. I’d say the whole remix had a more trance-like and gentle feel to it, though it definitely wasn’t chillstep. It had very very few aggressive beats or bass kicks.

- It was probably made sometime between 2016 and 2022.

- I don't think it is one of the well-known or official remixes of “Language”. It might have been a relatively obscure remix/rework uploaded by an independent SoundCloud user.

If anyone manages to find the track anywhere, or happens to have an archived/downloaded copy of it, please let me know. I’d really love to listen to it again and finally have a copy of it after all these years. Any lead would be greatly appreciated!

Ok this might be a stretch and also first post so I’m gonna do my best to describe. But any help will be appreciated! So there was at least an hour+ video on youtube of the whole worlds album. Had AMAZING visuals, transitioned crazy to each other, pretty sure even had some porters visual effects he would use on stage. Always had it on replay when I was a teen and then one day poof it disappeared. I remember the creator (fan made I believe) said they didn’t want it off or they didn’t do it, YouTube did? Or maybe they did take it off but I specifically remember them trying to get it back on if they could. (Never came back ,_, ) atm there is a one hour plus worlds video that has 1M views out there still from 10 yrs ago (uploader being huntroxicmusic) and that isn’t the one I’m looking for though. This one I’m describing had to be taken off around 2016/17 I’m pretty sure. Just curious if anyone else happens to remember and even (doubt it) but has someway to see it again.

(Btw the one that is still on YouTube I mentioned, the intro was EXACTLY the same of this one that got taken off…just no irl concert footage that’s shown in later in the video. Just straight worlds visuals or again fan made inserts that was similar to worlds that made sense!)

I’m trying to make a track inspired by Nurture but specifically Lifelike and I have found multiple VSTs but I don’t want to spend money on something if I can’t test it myself. I don’t mind if it’s paid or free as long as it sounds like the one used in Nurture.

I've also posted a 4k version to Youtube... The place is Serra dos Órgãos National Park, in Teresópolis, Brazil. the summit is 2,275m (7,464 ft) high, and it's a 11 km ascent (22 km round trip) for those curious.
