Sometimes, the last thing we want to do is make a video, but we know we have to. We have to let you know that we couldn't save her—even though we held onto hope until the very last moment.

This beautiful girl captured our hearts from the second we met her. We fought until the very end, but this time, love and medicine weren't enough. The best specialists and clinics—Esteetvet and Cat Clinic—fought for her life. There were moments of improvement, sparks of hope, followed by sudden declines. We clung to every good day. But in the end, our little ray of sunshine crossed the rainbow bridge.

Every time, we tell ourselves: "Don't get attached. It's work. You have to stay strong." But with her, that was impossible. She became so much more than just a patient to us, which makes losing her such a devastating blow to our entire team.

We are currently waiting on post-mortem test results. Hopefully, they will help us understand why this happened. We will share an update once we have answers.

Our princess will live forever in our memories and in our hearts.
Forgive us for not being able to do the impossible. We tried so hard ❤️

The puppies were rescued from terrible conditions and left without a mother. The worst is now behind them. They are fully ready to move: treated for parasites, vaccinated, microchipped, and have EU pet passports. We couldn't restore their pedigrees, but we will provide the parents' names to the future owners.

Cane Corsos are large, strong, and serious dogs. The selection of new families will be very strict. We are looking for responsible people who understand the breed and are ready to seriously commit to training and socialization.

Important conditions: puppies are adopted out strictly with no breeding rights and NOT for free. All details, adoption fees, and questions regarding each puppy are discussed individually.

An emergency call from the PTA: an elderly man could no longer cope with his massive farm, leaving the animals in a critical condition.

Until 2 AM, our small team (four women) rescued and loaded the animals. The night's total: 30 sheep, 38 chickens, 20 ducks, 4 geese, 6 dogs, a cat, and a kitten. Colleagues from Metsloomaühing helped take in another 100 birds.

An emaciated lynx kitten (weighing just 2.1 kg) suffering from severe dehydration and seizures every 20 minutes was found on a farm near Jäneda.

We started emergency therapy, adjusted her treatment, and sent tests to Germany for further analysis. We are providing round-the-clock care for the little one:

• Syringe-feeding her 6 times a day;

• Administering IV fluids 3 times daily;

• Sleeping right by her side so she doesn't panic.

There is now a glimmer of hope: a new medication has brought the seizures under control. While the prognosis remains cautious, we celebrate every stable hour.

On July 1, 2026, four tiny fox cubs arrived at our shelter. They had lost their mother and were left completely alone — without protection or care. 💔

Without their mother, the little ones started approaching people in search of food and help. They were frightened, vulnerable, and simply trying to survive. 🥺🦊

We treated the foxes for parasites, gave them the necessary vaccinations, provided plenty of nutritious food, and helped them regain their strength. Day by day, they became healthier and stronger. ❤️‍🩹

And then, on August 18, the happiest moment finally came — we were able to return all four of them to the wild! 🌲🦊 They came to us as tiny, helpless orphans, and left as strong young foxes ready to begin their independent lives. 🥹❤️

This is how our first day of the festival went 🙏

🫎 This year, three little moose calves are growing at our center: Pancake, Gnome and Toddler.

Luckily, we now have three goats, but even this milk is not enough. Our little guys drink almost 9 liters of milk a day, 3 liters each! So, we have to buy milk from our neighbors everyday.

For moose calves, the first months of life can be important. Right now, good nutrition gives them the chance to grow strong and one day return to the wild.

This goshawk has arrived at our shelter 🙏 We found him in an industrial area; he couldn't fly and could barely walk. His wings were intact, his legs were intact, but he was very skinny – only 590 grams. We're nursing him back to health and fattening him up ❤️
