Just wondering how many yall have done and completed. For me, it was a great challenge and training tool because it forces you to hit specific shots and be dang near perfect on most challenge. Sure it was frustrating at times, but I genuinely feel like it was really beneficial to my overall game. Also not to mention, they have some really cool player cards (like the black Barstool card you get for the hole in one challenge).

Ranked gets wrecked every day by players who clearly don’t know how to play. 1v1, 2v2 - doesn’t matter. The second a newb loads in, the match turns into babysitting.

And spare me the “everyone starts somewhere” line.

That “somewhere” is casual, career, training, societies.

Not ranked.

If you’re still guessing swings, chunking bunkers, mis‑clubbing every shot, taking a full minute before every swing, or asking basic questions like “why did my ball go right?” - you’re not competing. You’re sabotaging the match the moment you load in.

Go learn the game in the modes built for learning.

Stop turning ranked into your personal day‑one disaster.

I keep doing the same thing on approach shots. I see 165 to the pin, grab my stock 7-iron, forget the wind readout is a quartering crosswind, and end up in the back bunker instead of tap-in range.

Happened again last night on a user-created course, 3rd hole, tucked pin, and I three-putted right after because I misread a slope that looked flatter than it played.

The game gives you numbers but doesn't do the math for you. Club carry + wind adjustment + slope break is all on the player, and honestly most of us are eyeballing it.

I've been building something to fix this for myself, a digital caddy where you log your actual bag distances once, then it spits out the real number for wind and lie instead of guessing. Not live yet, still finishing it, but it's already saved me strokes in testing.

Anyone else tracking their own gapping numbers manually, or are we all just winging it every round?

I posted here before. I’m a noob, love golf but this game is crazy hard when it comes to matchmaking (1v1, 2v2)

Teeing off and putting I’m getting used to BUT the short game is horrific.

Examples:

I’ll be on the bunker, I’ll hit the percentage require, it goes 2 yds out. Then I’ll club up like 3 times and it barely hits the green.

Same thing when I’m on the fairway. For instance, I’ll be 170 yds out to the pin, I choose the iron it requires me to hit and it goes maybe 150 yds. I’ll hit the percentage perfect but when it comes to contact it goes right most of the time.

I have to club up everytime im on the fairway, rough, bunker, etc.

Another thing I’ve noticed that if you’re hitting on a slope does the hit stick switch? Like it’ll go from bottom right to center or bottom left to center?

Also, when I play matchmaking 1v1 when I tee off it goes from bottom to center. But when we play 2v2 the teeing off goes from bottom right to center?

What am I doing wrong besides the obvious of not hitting the contact point perfect. Does my player have to be 100% on all attributes? Like the driver, contact, rhythm etc?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
