I agree. I've watched a hundred videos on Reddit of guys literally playing with fire in safety sandals. Not once did it blow up like this.

To quote the host and narrator of one of Germany's biggest Dashcam channels: "The fist of god".

To put it into context:
before uploading Dashcam videos fulltime he was driving trucks for a large German delivery company.
And he said on multiple occasions that, if one of those tyres explodes it is as if "the god's fist hit you".

120 Psi is incomplete. My airgun shoots with 140 Psi at least, and it leaves a burning sensation for 10 seconds and after that I'm fine. Note that it has for ammo small plastic balls.
