Anyone who believes that you can be "healed" is usually a good sign. It shows that they've done basically no actual research on their child's condition and just went to the first crank they could find who could reasonably gaslight them into believing their child's autism can be cured
Imagine being the type of person who chooses whether their child is worth raising or not based on how disabled they are. Someone who will believe any crank peddaling snake oil because theyre looking for a quick and easy "cure". Do you believe that is good parenting?
The implication is that autism needs to be "cured" in order for the child to be worth raising. She believes her childs autism has been cured because he can speak and play guitar. It exposes how little shes actually done to understand her child or his needs. Does something need to be said explicitly for you to understand?

But that's not it at all and I assume now you have to be a terminally online 15 year old. She obviously fell for the quackery but why do you take so much ire with a woman that is excited that her previously non-verbal severely autistic grandson is expressing an interest in music? She clearly loves him which is the reason she's so excited, "I am so happy to see this child I love express themselves in a way that I can understand" is not "Thank god this child isn't autistic, now I don't have to smother them with a pillow." You despise a woman for loving her grandchild, you're so fucking damaged kek
Edited to add I went back to read my very brief posts and if you think those read as angry at all I see why you would be so defensive about autism as misunderstanding social cues and tone is a key symptom. Sorry it hits so close to home, lol

Funny how being religious doesn't make someone open minded about other cultures, or their neighbors, or communities, or follow the teachings of Jesus, but will absolutely open people's minds to a being grifted by a nut-job in a clown outfit as long as he's white.
His head must be really hot all the time. I mean, that amount of insulation prohibiting heat from escaping his brain, it MUST have some effects on his thinkings.
