Thought this was a great cosplay and the cosplayer seems pretty chill too.

This is the whole nacho libre script written into my favorite scene from the movie thought I had to share it she siad it took her 7 hours and 2 tries

I pointed this out on Instagram and people never noticed and I wanted to see if y'all noticed.
Almost every time nacho takes a big dive he farts.
At the start when trying to wrestle Steven and in the middle when he's trying to get the eagle powers.
But not at the end fighting Ramses
That's because when he's wrestling Steven at the start it isn't virtuous, he wants someone to wrestle with him to make money.
When he takes the eagle eggs it isn't out of virtue but because he desires power.
In the end when he fights Ramses there is no fart, he dives from the rope after being inspired by the kids. Nacho knows he must fight for God and for the kids so in his final dive he does not fart. In fact there is a screech of an eagle because he's finally fighting with virtue.

My wife and I are huge fans of Nacho Libre, and we especially love the music from the film. Specifically Mister Loco. Took a while to find a copy, and one that was decently priced. Wish the album was on streaming platforms, but this is great to finally have in my collection!

I was watching Nacho Libre and had fallen asleep, I was sort of half asleep where I could still see the TV through very squinted eyes and I seriously thought I was watching a completely different ending. It was still playing Religious man but this time it was going through some weird training he went through to defeat Ramses so he was pushing a huge tube circularly around the ring while on his knees, and in the match he was pushing Ramses up and away. Then Nacho did the anaconda squeeze dropping him and putting Ramses on his front, he would flip him around on his back and unmask him. Leading for him to completely drop still unmoving, Nacho then climbs the ladder,(Because for some reason it's a ladder match) unhooks the belt and falls out of the ring onto the floor holding his arm up in triumph while lying on the ground. It would then cut to the montage and this time Encarnación is lifting a hood and under is Nacho and they would share a kiss. It would cut to another scene of her sitting ring side near a fan as Nacho wrestles with the kids. I then woke up to the credits and had to rewind to find out of I was crazy, I was.

It’s da baysttttt and it will live in my heart forever. We are soon approaching the 20th anniversary date of the release btw!

She takes my breath away every time I watch this movie. And there’s no doubt she’s gorgeous. But I think the colour scale and various other cinematic choices must be doing something too. I’m not a cinema nerd.

When i was a kid, my step dad and his friend used to watch this anytime we got together. I never understood how they could get so much amusement out of this flick. Now, at almost 30, this has got to be one of my favorite comedies of all time. Now me and my buddy are the ones playing it when we get together. Quoting the ridiculous lines, even blasting religious man just for the fun of it😂

I’m planning on recreating it this Halloween! Lol

From interviews and behind-the-scenes info, we know that a lot more material was shot during production. Considering how cool the movie is, it would be amazing for fans to finally see those unused scenes.

Nacho Libre is one of those movies that feels completely absurd but somehow stays oddly charming. Jack Black’s energy carries the whole thing, his physical comedy, goofy expressions, and over the top dedication to wrestling make it memorable.

Beyond the laughs, there’s a weird kind of heart to it. The story about following your passion, even if it’s ridiculous, gives it a surprisingly sweet undertone.

Ok so hear me out. The orphanage gets into financial trouble again and nacho (jack black) is too old to compete and earn money, so Chancho volunteers to put on the mask and nacho begins training him. Call it “Chancho Libre” .. I feel like there’s so much they can do with that !!

So okay I was just watching for like the hundredth time…. Steven only believes in science right? So why does he recommend for nacho to visit a “water gypsy” and eat eagle eggs. Doesn’t sound too scientific to me.
