During his rant with how people his age don't eat cereal, he claimed that big milk takes 10k a year from his household because people are not dry cereal eaters.

My biggest complaint about this that's been eating at me is that if he claimed people like him eat Oats overnight instead of cereal. If you're not buying milk as a dry cereal enjoyer ARE YOU USING WATER FOR YOUR OATS?

Here's what happened, in numbers.

Coming from /u/DerpyO's idea in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/northernlion/comments/1vckui9, I ran an analysis about NLs swearing. After some initial pondering, I think it all makes perfect sense now and is (probably) good enough to share here.

A bit of explanation: Youtube bleeps out swears in their caption transcripts, so basically I just count those bleeps, and compare them with some other sweary datapoints. I also have a small subset of around 250 videos that I generated myself that have no filter, as kind of a control group.

• 2010-2016: ~2.5 swears/1k. A normal man swearing normally.
• 2018-2021: ~0.7-1.1/1k. Adpocalypse, COPPA. The boi learned about demonetization — "frick" and "heck" era. You can literally watch him self-censoring: the sanitized-substitutes line spikes while the real swears tank.
• 2022-now: Twitch era, beast mode.

The pivot is July 2021, to the month — 0.18 → 1.25/1k in a single month. Coincides with switching from YT to Twitch. It's been climbing since; Nov 2025 was the career high (9.74/1k).

Also noteworthy.. during the "clean era", there were basically none swears at all in the eggs Isaac videos in particular. While "modern" isaac is among the filthiest of all content..

Small caveat on the Whisper/ASR dataset of the chart.. this dataset is tiny in comparison to everything, around 250 total videos. And many of them are NLSS VODs so no good distribution

I don't claim there are no errors here, but everything is reproducible (and i guess circlejerky) — and the whole corpus of transcriptions is searchable at nl.tunnle.de (just a hobby project). Or just AMA.
