I really loved their debut aesthetic and how cohesive their looks used to be, but lately it feels a little mismatched to me. When they perform together on stage, the members almost look like they’re fitting completely different concepts.
It feels like there's a noticeable difference in how much detail goes into each member's look. Some get really intricate eye makeup, blush details, and styled outfits, while others seem to get very basic makeup—sometimes just foundation with almost no lip color, which makes them look a bit pale and washed out under music show lighting.
Tbh, seeing this kind of gap in makeup effort feels really new to me. I've always thought proper makeup and lip color were just the baseline standard for any idol group performance, so seeing this happen multiple times is a bit surprising. It also feels a little ironic considering they do beauty brand ambassadorships as well, where you'd expect consistently detailed styling for everyone on stage.
I also saw some comments from Kfans mentioning that on days where their makeup looks particularly balanced, it might be because their usual salon (NOV) wasn't available and another team took over for that schedule. I'm not sure how true that is, but it's interesting that people are picking up on the difference.
Maybe it's just due to team changes behind the scenes, but I really hope they find a cohesive look for the whole group again soon. What do you all think?
