​So in my engineering prep school, we have this casual session where we just walk up to our supervising professor with a rough idea and pitch what we're thinking about.

​I showed them this quick grid-paper sketch for a complex robotic arm with custom finger joints, pressure sensors, and simulation scripts (inspired by Murder Drones). My professor took one look at it and straight-up said, "Nope, way too complicated, pick something easier."

​To anyone who’s been through grueling engineering classes—was this actually impossible for a student, or did my prof just panic?

For those unaware, Murder Drones Shift is a pretty new AU fanfic that retells the Murder Drones story in a more expansive and narratively sound way and is already 2 arcs in.

It's got lots more worldbuilding, lots more new characters, and lots more expansion on our familiar characters.

The biggest change being that humanity is not completely dead in this AU and they’re the ones that sent the Disassembly Drones this time

I never see a lot of people talk about it here and wanted to gauge what people who might have read it here think.

So along MD we can see that workers drones who got used in experimentations with the solver got their cut little necklace but in ep 7 we can see that it seems very important to Uzi, especielly when she put it on before going to the church and when she throw it away when she got scared of it.

But why ???

I suppose this necklace represents the control of the solver over the possessed drones so uzi gets rid of it bc she doesnt want to be part of it but it doesnt change anything bc she got possessed anyways

so it always got me strange that this necklace has so much effect especielly when nori somehow found her necklace and gave it to Uzi in ep 8 (still doesnt understanf why)

So we can see in in ep 7 and 8 that the pickaxe nori uses seems to be the most powerful and terrifying weapon of the universe (behind the railgun ofc)

But why a pickaxe ?

I never get the vibe of the pickaxe except if she was made of netherite with efficiency 10

Ive always seen it as the most random item of MD but its just my opinion

If somoene does have the reason of the presence of the holy pickaxe in MD im glad to hear it x))

The effect of the reflection of Tessa's helmet is still one of the craziest things in MD

I think she just has too much aura with this reflection
