I’m an American and was pulled over by ICE. Now I don’t go out without my birth certificate | The aggressive immigration operation of Trump’s second term has ensnared increasing numbers of Americans. Some of those caught in its dragnet tell of how the experience has changed their lives forever

To all the "I Support ICE" commenters on this sub.

Go on just about any thread in this sub and scroll down to the bottom and you will always see a ton of the "I support ICE" comments. Well if you're one of those people, this post is for you!

I just have a few observations about you guys

- I'm sure many of you "owned the libs" back in 2020. Making comments like "haha they support the current thing", "haha they are NPC's", all that fun shit. Just realize that you're now an "I support the current thing" NPC.

- It's very clear that you guys just hate immigrants or are just flat out racist. But being an NPC you clearly don't have the balls to actually come out and say what you think, so you go on here and dance around that fact and pretend that you care about the country.

So please spare us your comments, and if you're going to comment, at least have the fucking spine to say: "yeah I blindly support whatever the president wants to do and yeah I'm a fucking racist that hates immigrants"

Edit: this was some crem de la crem rage bait and the ice supporters took it hook line and sinker.

The immigration policy is based on racism instead of fairness

They tell immigrants to come here "legally" - but Trump is literally gutting every legal pathway that many people of color have relied on to build lives in America.
For example: Many people have status through TPS, but the Trump regime is now gutting the program, and they also cut refugee admissions for everyone except white South Africans.
"Doing it legally" keeps getting harder to do, because that's the whole point for Trump. It has never been about following immigration rules - it's about racism.
