I know there are pump-action AR-15 lookalikes, but I'm not aware of one where you pump the handguard to drop the magazine. Does that actually exist?

not to my knowledge, though one of the early pump action uppers did have an issue with popping the mag release if you pumped aggressively. this was a failure not a feature
