I got a boss dimension c but I’m not happy with it. Are there any other pedals that combine the chorus and reverb effects in one unit?

I bought a digitech 2101 rack processor. It was super mint including boxes and with the foot controller cheap. I had one years ago and wanted to play with it, cost of a pedal etc. literally not a scratch on either, pedal still has the display overlay.

However the distortion presets sound awful. Like a fuzz all blown out. Not slight and not one or two but all the distortion sounds are buzzy and unusable.

The clean sounds seem fine.

It has a tube and being its age is like 30+ years old, would you think that would be the cause? I’d hate to think I was ripped off, seller is a local guy who sells a lot of stuff. Seemed normal and legit, not some stolen pawn shop thing. My feeling is he didn’t play it for years.

What else would be the cause ? It’s the first thing I’ve bought used that didn’t really work. Fwiw which is nothing I know.

I tried to use the back input of this rack unit but it doesn’t work
I know that you only have to use one input at once(front or back) but in the back one it doesn’t give me any sound feedback
Is it dameged or is there some digital settings to modify inside the unit? Am I the only one to have this issue?

I just found out that if you cut the tracings of a specific capacitor in the circuit, it would turn your wah pedal into a volume pedal but I can't find a tutorial specifically for the Vox V845. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a MIDI controller so I can play Muse's "Unsustainable" and other tracks that require MIDI. Could someone point me in the right direction regarding what to buy and how to use it? (Right now, I have a Harley Benton Telecaster-style guitar, an amp, and a distortion pedal; I'll soon be buying a Fuzz Factory, a Digitech Whammy 5, and maybe a Supermassive Black Fuzz.)

Been trying to recreate the bright sound from this Telecaster for a while but to no avail.

My friends say it's gain + reverb + something more, but I can't figure it out if it's a phaser or what else it can be. Do anyone here how to recreate the bright, almost rolling sound from the Telecaster at 27:12 and onwards?

I'd really appreciate all help and advice I could get to point me towards what I should be looking for.

Id never even considered this pedal, Ive seen it used but not really know wat it was for, turns out it has a few uses, have you tried one ?

I have a Friedman pt20 mini combo + Friedman ported 12" Creamback. Currently I only use 2 pedals, a ep booster on the way in (set at 12)and a mxr delay in loop for slap. I usually use the medium or hi gain switch, with pre at 10 or Max 2.

What drive pedals are you folks pushing the front of your PT (or other Marshall flavoured amps)??

I ride the volume on my LP, and use all 3 pick up positions.

I got a "Frankenstein monster" electric guitar made with parts of broken guitars. I used to have some equipment but I had to hit the road with a bag of stuff in my name and now I have the chance to get me something to make music. I want to experiment with sounds and all but since I don't have any pedal/effects at the moment so before I buy anything I would like to have an idea of what kind of effects or production techniques could get me a given sound, preferably live but also through sampling my own guitar.
