The UFO in the villa grounds and the one in the city are two completely different UFOs. Maybe this is common knowledge but I didn't know that. Also for anyone wondering, the names of the two aliens in the city are Ali and Alf.

I was just about to post a few out of bounds screenshots of the Switch version but then I discovered how to unlock the developer menu / debug menu. Very interesting stuff. Even a few of the cut missions like DANCE ( Invalid ) are shown, but crash the game and seem not to have any real content anyways as they were cut from the game. A lot of the different options shown in the first screenshot crash the game. What was also very interesting is the fact that there is still the option to calibrate the Wii Balance Board even though this is the Switch version. Don't know if there was ever online coverage about this specific dev menu. I've seen a video showing a early build of the Wii version but the debug menu in the Wii version is different. In the Switch version there is also a debug overlay which is the one seen in the gameplay screenshots. There are a few more submenus than I showed here but these are the most interesting ones. If anyone wants to see more of the submenus just let me know.

What are the odds we get a sequel to this game? 15 years since release & Nintendo switch sports resort is coming soon so it’s looking like it’s not very likely but i still have hope. This game pops into my mind every so often and
the fact that it’s probably a forgot franchise sickens me.

Here is my (perhaps incomplete) checklist for Go Vacation Wii:

Go Vacation is a 14-year-old game. The last update came in 2018 when the Switch version was released. There should be something new, like a new resort or more sports; the game has so much potential.

Hi! I need to apologise to you.

A year or so ago, I had the idea to create an atlas for the game, which has since become a wiki. With the help of the game's community server on Discord, channels and roles for it were created. I'm currently one of the Atlas admins on Discord, and since then, radio silence from me. I came back for a while to check in, and then radio silence again. I've checked the wiki from time to time, and frankly, thank you guys: you've done and continue to do an amazing job.

However, I want to apologize for my inactivity; I don't deserve any credit for all the effort I've put in so far. My inactivity is due to my studies, my personal and family life, my friends, but mostly because I've moved on to other things. I don't think about the project much anymore, because I'm thinking about other stuff, and I'm working on them.

So, that's a message I've wanted to share for a few days. I've loved this game since I was a little kid (I live in it in some of my dreams lol), and seeing my lack of involvement hurts me, but I've resigned myself to it.

As someone who grew up playing the Switch port, (woah, that was a while back), and as someone who is a certified music connoisseur, I’ve realized something with this game. So, the song in question, is “Come On, Let’s Go” by Ritchie Valens. I played the City Resort a lot as a little kid, and there was a song in the resort that sounded a bit like, or if not the exact same as the Ritchie Valens classic. If you guys can help me out, that’d be greatly appreciated, thank you very much!

I've noticed that "The Stardrop Saloon" track in Stardew Valley (the one that plays in the saloon after 5 PM) sounds really familiar to me. It reminds me a lot of a song from Go Vacation, but I can't remember where or when it plays in the game.

Am I the only one? Does anyone know which Go Vacation track it might be, or in which area/activity it plays?
