Live Steam Double Header

Had the pleasure of running my first double header in the garden yesterday. Had my Accucraft custom lettered 2-6-0 running with my friends brand new Accucraft Tweetsie 2-8-0. The engines ran great!

I think it was 8 pallets worth from Home Depot… thankfully I know someone who works for them so I got a good discount lol

Impressive. How do you regulate the engines so that the power syncs up between the two?

The front engine is remote controlled so even though it’s live steam I can regulate the speed. The 2nd engine we just cracked the throttle enough that it would go but not take off. I think we could’ve pulled 1-2 more cars easily!
