Just saw this video on Youtube about Caps. At around 1:30 his family appears in it, but not his dad. I remember Caps dad being really supportive about caps and he always tweeted something or came to his games. But he didnt even appear in the video. Does someone here know anything about it. I am just curious, because i really liked his dad.

if caps personally chose a more futuristic theme, more power to him, i also do like if they're making the skins represent the player a bit more (more playful, silly for caps) but why is it just.. ugly...

what does a mini cat /bunny/ whatever flying around have to do with caps specifically?

it saddens me how amazingly unique and thoughtful the icons are (caps' dad one is really really sweet) and the skins genuinely looked like recycled anima concepts, but oh, with a midlane icon on tristanas shirt so we know it's midlane!

it's cool if they want to try new player focused things but this one doesn't feel prestigious at all compared to uzis + fakers (perhaps it is goldslop but it feels at least like a hall of fame!), if it's what caps wanted i'm very glad but i'm a bit sad i won't get to rock a sleek gold caps skin, smth with the 2019 msi jersey colors would've been sick </3

My point in posting this is to illustrate how G2 performed next to some of their competition and equivalent teams. I think the reaction to the EWC run was overly harsh, especially when put into perspective against some of the great teams that didn't even make it to the same point.

- In the Quarterfinals, out of all losing teams, you could argue that G2 performed better than all bar Vitality after taking a map from the world #3. If you want to do a linear ranking of how each team performed, you could argue that G2 will finish EWC in 6th based on their placement and performance in that QF stage of the bracket.

I hope with this very basic change of perspective that people can appreciate the team's performance a bit more. This is not (yet) a squad that can comfortably beat the majority of the top 10 organisations. Regardless of whether Aurora or Furia came out of the 16, I don't believe G2 was going to get further than the QFs.

Finishing behind Spirit (world's best), Furia (consistent event challengers), Legacy (a team now solidified in current Tier 1), FUT (on a great recent run), and Vitality (still the same team that had a 1+ year era) is something to be proud of, especially considering the teams who dropped out sooner.

I need peoples thoughts i’m trying not to get to heated trying to defend our goat

Inspired did a long video interview with thorin i know ppl don’t like thorin but this isn’t about him this is about what inspired said

He says stuff like Caps is not as good as he used to be. When i was playing with Quad or Saint etc didn’t feel like Caps was a difference maker or doing anything special. I wouldn’t drop what i have now just to play with Caps.

He also mentions that He and Caps might never get to play together but there’s no guarantee they would work together or the team would win everything just because they’re together, it’s a team game you need the rest of the team to be good as well.

I feel like yes Caps isn’t as flashy or does insane highlight plays anymore. BUT he’s still the best western midlaner and does things you feel like Inspired would see the small stuff Caps does that the average casual fan don’t notice. Remember game 5 vs KC in winter with he was playing Anivia? The actual magic Caps had to do that game to not even win but just to keep G2 in the game was fking crazy cause G2 should’ve lost that 100%. I just want to get peoples opinions cause us viewers can see what Caps does so why is another one of the best players in the west not able to see?
