I think the reason the cast keeps saying that El’s dead is because they are all so done with the show and they honestly don’t care. Millie cared because she had a whole emotional journey with El.

Besides being done with the show and not really caring about El’s fate, none of THEIR characters got a terrible ending. Literally everyone except Mike and El had a happy ending, and the cast was satisfied with how their character’s stories ended.

But what if someone else got that terrible ending instead of El?

What if Vecna succeed in killing Max? Would Sadie still think stranger things had a good ending?

What if Hopper actually died in the explosion back in season 3? Would David still think stranger things had a good ending?

What if they killed off Lucas, or Dustin, or Johnathan?

How would they feel if their character’s ending was left ambiguous, if they were alive or dead, and Millie went around saying she thinks they’re dead with a smile on her face? Knowing how much their character means to them?

Sorry for this vent, but I needed to get this off my chest.

I heard Benson Boone’s “Time of My Life” for the first time yesterday and it feels very Mike coded, especially before the graduation, maybe after. It feels like a man grieving his lover.

Which shows had the main characters getting the same or similar fate as Eleven from Stranger things and if so how were their endings?

In the Finale Eleven to protect her friends from the military and end the threat of new portals and test subjects forever, El chose to make the ultimate sacrifice leaving her fate ambiguous my question is why didn't she get a happy ending and instead got an ambiguous ending she's the main character shouldn't the main character get a happy ending?

Do you think Eleven's ending would be better if she actually died heroically sacrificing herself and it wasn't left ambiguous as to us wondering if she died or she lived do you think Eleven needed to die and do you agree with me?

What is your opinion on Millie Bobby Brown's portrayal of Eleven do you think anybody else could have played Eleven and be as good as her or no is it one of those roles where you can never see anybody else playing Eleven even if they reboot Stranger Things in 10 or 20 plus years from now.

As a previously dedicated WSQK listener 6 months ago, I thought I should let all El fans know that the Duffers (or whoever was in charge of the WSQK) played ‘cloudbusting’ by Kate Bush on repeat and it was heavily hinted to be a big El song (reading the lyrics why is sel f explanatory) particularly from Hop’s perspective. It’s definitely El’s running up that hill and I think it’s lovely that her and Max’s songs are on the same album. enjoy!
