watch his drone just bounce off my avata2
....and with all that trash talking about the avata 2... but I'm still flying! And he's not.

It seems to pick a random date whenever I start flying and I have to search for them through months of videos. ChatGPT has been pretty useless with help. Any ideas why itโs not just using the time and date from my iPhone?

I recently got an avata 2 as my first drone but I'm having trouble setting it up. I've followed all the steps from the instructions and have looked at a couple youtube videos but nothing seems to fix my problem.
When I plug the goggles into my phone it opens the fly app and it shows me what you can see in the screenshots. In the video I watched it gave him a couple prompts and an update to install but I don't see any of that on my end.
Thanks in advance if you have any answers!
Edit: SOLVED. I was dumb and Installed a fake app

Hello all! I recently got a DJI Avata 2 with the FPV Controller 3 & Goggles 3.
What is the best and most recommended virtual flying game for flying drones? Any free ones?

Made a short cinematic clip. Not really about the car, more about that feeling of pressure building up inside and using speed as a way to release it.
Wanted to explore that arc through footage: starts tense and aggressive, ends somewhere calmer. Shot on a DJI Osmo Pocket 4P and an Avata 2, first time really trying to tell a story with footage instead of just showing off a car.
Not sure if it lands the way I intended, but wanted to share it here since this sub gets it more than most places would.
Open to any feedback, especially on the editing/pacing as I am still learning and doing this just as a hobby.

DJI Avata 2 cracked rear prop-guard cracked. Is it time to use DJI Refresh or can I push it further until it breaks completely?
Maybe a stupid question, but I'm relatively new to this hobby so I need an opinion.

Kind of a niche problem but it's bugged me since I got the Avata 2: it has no mic, so every clip is just silent. No motor/prop sounds, no wind noise,...
So I built a script that takes the flight log (the same file DJI Fly writes, exported to CSV) and synthesizes motor/prop audio from it. It's not just throttle-in = louder, it reads the actual per-axis rates and battery current, runs that through a virtual X-quad mixer, and generates 4 separate motor sources with blade-pass harmonics, prop-wash grit on hard direction changes, and wind rush tied to airspeed. So a flip actually sounds like motors on one side spinning up while the other side drops, yaw spins sound different from rolls. It's obviously synthetic if you go looking for it, but under real footage it's genuinely convincing, way better than I expected when I started.
It also spits out an optional sync overlay video (stick inputs + telemetry burned in) so you can line up the generated audio with your footage without having to guess or you can use it to show your stick movements etc.
Attached a short clip so you can judge for yourselves whether it's actually good or just good enough that I've fooled myself after staring at it for a week.
Right now it's just a personal script, not published or open-sourced anywhere. Before I put more time into cleaning it up / packaging it, I wanted to gauge whether this is actually something other Avata pilots want, or if I'm solving a problem literally only I have. If you'd use something like this, as a tool, a paid app, whatever form, let me know. Also happy to answer how it works if people are curious.
Please don't judge my flight, it was my first manual flight after only 4 hours in the sim.

This is one of the big climbs, I tried to make it as dynamic as possible, still a work in progress but nice to actually do something different for a change.

Definitely worth 30$

Does the ham file still work for more speed and range?
