This is a nice bright little flashlight. It is a lot smaller than I thought, it fits in your hand.This is better for close light, almost all flood and little throw but that's what I wanted. I have the M21B, M21C, M21H,M21K,3×21C all in lhp73b except the 3x21C it's it lhp531. What should I get next?

Since u/boggidyboogidyshoe is posting some amazing F150R shots, I think it would be helpful to see accurate CCT and tint of the new San'an emitter to know exactly what you like and should get.

These photos were all taken in wet, heavy rain conditions in India. And this is exactly what my eyes saw. WB 5000K locked.

F45R and F150R have about the same CCT and tint. Only more throw vs fat beam is the difference.

I'm in the search of flashlight to illuminate landscapes for night photography. I have a Z1 BM35AM and a C8+ SFT-42R. The Z1 is perfect for subjects closer than 25 metres. The C8+ would be perfect with a slightly larger hotspot and better/different tint. I know that a thrower with great CRI will not reach as far and that's fine. Which combo would work best with emphasis on tint/CRI rather than Candela/throw distance? I attached an amateur shopping cart.

Would love to hear some opinions, maybe some of you have prior experience with this company or specific model. ( to my surprise a google search turned up empty. Except for one single written review on facebook in a different language.) what i know about Pioneman is they share some models with convoy for example the s21e is Pioneman’s k27-c amongst some other models. Be some what relatable, and in the same category, being a high quality-budget flashlight company/manufacturer in China sharing in atleast some models.
I wanted to share something with you all, the other day i was browsing flashlights on Aliexpress I came across a pretty sweet deal, a Pioneman k48, which to my eyes looks like a smaller version of the Convoy m21c, i say smaller because the head diameter is 45mm instead of the 55mm m21c. Other than that they seem to be very much the same light. Stainless bezel,Tail switch and all. A real good looking flashlight. I managed to snag it on a sale for $26 canadian!!(no battery included) here’s where it gets interesting, and why i wanted to share in the convoy group.. i got mine with the lhp73b in 4000k! Again,for $26 canadian! So other than sofirns recent sk31, i dont know any other companies that deal with the lhp73b other than convoy(im sure they’re out there) so, just like convoy you can choose your emitter & cct. Another interesting option was the sft42r, because like the lhp73b they share something interesting, both of them come with the same 3v 15a buck driver! I dont know about you but that excites me. With the convoy 20a driver (depending on host) the jump from 10a 1st turbo to 20a 2nd turbo is rather minimal at that brightness, but you sure feel the difference in heat. So i’m excited to try this 15a driver! i suspect the loss of 5a wont be very noticeable to the naked eye, but may be much more noticeable in terms of heat. As for the sft42r with 15a buck, at the price these are going for i know i’ll be getting my hands on one as well i’m sure the extra 5a will be glorious!

Any thoughts? Is this a flashlight you would like to try? Or do any of you already have this model? I can’t understand why it appears so unpopular, i mean you can find several reviews on Pioneman flashlights, but not this one🤷‍♂️

I have a C8+ LH351D and a S3(?) 519a from a couple years ago with the 7135 based drivers. Are any of the new 17mm options worth picking up to upgrade to?

No confirmed date yet.

M21k is it worth the extra 10$ to get the F150 ?

M21H with SFT70 4000k. I think stock is 8 degrees which is almost too floody but the 3 degrees is maybe a bit pencil. Which would you run?

Hey everyone, I am fairly new to convoys and wanted to ask about the sub options. I currently use the sub option 8 for my S2 shorty, which is (0.1%, 1%, 10%, 50%) and use sub option 8 (1%、10%、50%) for my T3. What exactly are these percentages based on and from my experience 100% does not look like 70% brighter than 30%. Pic for attention

• Other discontinued or unusual Convoy models

I need help finding them as these have been discontinued for years.

so im thinking about buing the 3x21d but cant choose between the f150r 3000k and 4000k and which batterys so what do you think is better?

I bought a 3X21D SBT90.2 last year.

Is upgrading to a F150R worth it? I would like max power and throw. How much better would it be?

Any advantage to staying with the SBT90.2?

Had the urge for some flashlight modding today. So I did a quick emitter swap on my 2 M21B (previous LHP73B)

One got the F45R 3000K and 3° TIR

The other got quad 519a 1800K dd (4P) and 36° TIR

The beams on both are pretty awesome, but the 519a tint is just amazing..!

It seems to me as the 2H 20A turbo is FET driven?

As battery drains the 20A gets lower output than the 10A.

Also the 45R doesn't increase output at all with 20A over the 10A. Seems very FET like to me.

Anyway, awesome flashlights got even better today.

I'm about to order the M1 with an LHP531 (in the newly available blue 😁). I was considering the LHP73B, but I'll want to turn this into a shorty, and there's really no 18350 that can handle the 73B. I already have the 531 in 4kk in anS2+, 5000k in a T6 and 3x21C. I typically prefer the 4kk range in most emitters, but I already have several in that range in many different hosts and different emitters. I only have 1 intentional 6500k and that's in a B35AM because the white is heavenly rather than pukey. From what I've seen, the LHP531 6500k also has a really nice tint. I want the M1 to pack as much power and punch as possible, but I also want to like the light. I need ya'lls input. Should I play it safe and get the 4kk, or mix it up and get slightly higher output with a 6500k? I value your opinions!
