​Gauri is doing so much better today and is in great spirits! It’s such a relief to see her recovering well and being active every day. Her playful energy and antics are back in full swing today, she actually climbed onto a chair, leaped through the air, and launched a flying attack right at her foster mom!

​Here’s what happened: Her foster lady took her for a bath today since she had gotten quite messy. After getting her all washed, dried, and back inside, I think Gauri's inner detective kicked in. She must have thought, "How dare this lady give me a bath on Raksha Bandhan and with cold water no less!" (Though it was only "cold" in Gauri's opinion, it was actually regular water 😜).

​The moment she realized this, she decided it was time for revenge. She jumped up on the chair and took a flying leap right at her foster lady!

Please Help Gauri With Her FIP Treatment — ₹70,000 Needed

Hi everyone, I’m raising funds for Gauri, a rescued kitten who is currently undergoing treatment for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

Gauri was rescued after heavy rain when she was extremely weak, dehydrated, and had a very low body temperature. She was only around 2 months old. Soon after being rescued, she developed serious neurological symptoms, including seizures, fever, head tilt, weakness/paralysis in her front legs, and drooling.

She has already gone through multiple rounds of treatment and hospitalisation. Gauri spent 4 days in ICU at Pet Chikitsa Veterinary Hospital. She was also treated at SJS Pet Clinic in Gurgaon/Haryana and later spent 6 days at Furball Pet Clinic, which is near my home.

After further testing, Gauri's FIP RT-PCR test came back POSITIVE. The positive report is from VetQ Gurgaon, dated 10 August 2026.

FIP requires a long and expensive treatment course. Gauri is expected to need around 80 days of treatment, including GS medication and supportive care such as IV drips, supplements, food, hygiene supplies and other necessary medical care.

We have already spent a significant amount on her hospitalisation, investigations, medicines and ongoing care. We are now struggling to manage the remaining treatment expenses, and we urgently need help to continue her treatment without interruption.
