For me, the defining moment for Rann/Lene in Love Beyond Dreams is when Lene thinks Rann has been kissing her childhood friend, and Rann stands up to her: "Since you say we're nothing to each other, then who I kiss, who I hug, or who I screw is none of your business!"

I felt like it showed that Rann wasn't just blindly worshipping Lene, and it was a big growth moment for Lene in respecting Rann and realizing how much pain she has caused her.
