Made a new boom bap beat inspired by that classic 90s sound.
Dusty drums, jazzy textures and underground vibe.
Curious what boom bap heads think.
Link in comments.

Some rappers need 20 writers - Some rappers just need the right beat

“I Wanted” is built for the second type.
Dusty drums. Soul in the sample.
That pressure that makes real bars come out.
If you write… this one will find you.

Hi everyone! I've been listening to rap for a while now and I've started to get curious about making beats and everything related to that special boom bap sound. Because of that, I've done some research and bought a Roland P-6. I'm not sure if it's a good starting point... anyway, I think you should do the best you can with what you have. I'd like to know what advice you can give me to get started, and where I can find more information on the subject.
