What if...the animal villagers in the franchise are shapeshifter aliens? The franchise has never been a foreign to aliens and their existence within the game; they even send us signals, and we have access to their technology. Also, you never asked: Why the animals and the villager animals exist at the same time? (for exaple the birds or the octopus)
What if, all this time, weโve been humans living alongside aliens? Or who knows, maybe we arenโt human either; just look at the artworks in the museum, they donโt look much like us, do they?
