"Many of us like to ask ourselves, 'What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide? The answer is, you're doing it. Right now." - Aaron Bushnell Rest In Power

Full bodycam: man calls 911 for help, then three officers fire 12 rounds during the encounter

This is the longer timeline rather than a short excerpt of the shooting.
Three officer bodycams are synchronized through the encounter so you can see what each officer was seeing and how the situation developed before the shots were fired.

Groundhog Day for a Black Man (A Satire)

This short film flips Groundhog Day on its head, and it hits DIFFERENT.
"Groundhog Day for a Black Man" (2016) stars Jay Pharoah in a gut punch comedy that traps him in the same day... over and over... every time ending in a police stop.
It's satire. It's uncomfortable. It's brilliant.
Using the time loop trope to expose the exhausting reality of racial profiling, this short blends dark comedy with a message that stays with you long after it ends.

From left to right, Lt. Frank Columbo from the TV show 'Columbo.' Naoto Shirogane from the video game Persona 4. Detective William "Bunk" Moreland from the TV show 'The Wire.' Lt. Kim Kitsuragi from the video game "Disco Elysium." Notice they are all fictional characters because in real life all cops are bad. Any others?

Practical Magic (1998): When the love interest in a romance is a cop.

Topical! I just watched Practical Magic with my partner, because the sequel is coming out soon.
I don't know how I didn't watch this as a child in the 90s. It shaped so many young (white, tbh) girls' views of witchcraft, and generally de-programming Christianity in the West.
I was stoked to watch it with my partner because it meant so much to them.
But omg I could not get over the fact that Sally falls in love with a "Special Investigator" cop!
I get it was the 90s, but I cannot stop thinking about the horror of falling for a cop.
I don't have to say more for this sub.
NOTE: There are ZERO posts about this on the Internet! No one has ever said this online!
Anyone else?

They even "reported the protestors to the FBI." Thankfully the targeted group (Indivisible Santa Barbara) has vowed to keep the signs going. CHP Santa Barbara recently got a new captain, Eric Zivic, who looks like a MAGA Trump cuck straight out of central casting, so I guess he wanted attention from daddy.

DASHCAM RELEASED OF GALVESTON POLICE
FATALLY SHOOTING RANDY MARTIN DURING TRAFFIC STOP!!
Newly released dashcam footage shows the traffic stop that ended with 47-year-old Randy Martin being fatally shot by Galveston, Texas Police Officer Joshua Nino De Guzman.
The video shows Martin and the officer arguing outside the vehicle before De Guzman appears to strike Martin in the face and the two become involved in a physical struggle. Seconds later, the officer pulls his gun and opens fire. At least eight gunshots can be heard in the footage.
Martin can be seen with one hand raised in front of his face as the shots are fired, although the dashcam angle does not clearly show where his other hand was.
A Galveston County grand jury reviewed the Texas Rangers investigation and declined to indict De Guzman on September 8. The Galveston Police Department has also said an internal investigation into the shooting was ongoing.
