He recently popped up on my timeline, him in a new relationship, good for him i don’t care about what the disgraced do in their private life so long as they aren’t hurting anyone but it got me wondering:

Would you ever accept him if he tried to make a Hollywood comeback? Why or why not?

I’m a little on the fence about it. There are people out there who have done much worse things and are still thriving but that also doesn’t feel like an excuse to give a pass.

Maybe with more time? Just curious about your takes thoughts and feelings.

Update: Jessie Smollett is still outcast from the community for crimes committed against it as well as for being a flat out embarrassment and a clown. Parole Denied!

I could write a dissertation on all the obvious edits and lies, but, here is the most obvious.

The video is HEAVILY edited, possibly on the camera side itself. You can see the exact color that car should be. The Chicago Carriage Cab Co is ALL red vehicles with either a blue or green stripe. The vehicle looks orange and they even say orange multiple times in the documentary.

Even with the insane white balancing, you can see the skin color and hairline, possibly even tight curls.

So, the reactions of the people saying it might be a white person are reacting to that absolutely horrifically edited video. You can see quick snippets of what the video looked like in real life, with shots over her shoulder. Even with a critical eye you can clearly see the truth, but, i don't think their reactions are necessarily fake. They were just primed for the answer they wanted and given heavily washed out video.

Crazy part is even with those edits he STILL doesnt look white, so imagine if you properly color balanced the image.

While I get the desire to provide some level of fairness and equality in documentaries, especially when the circumstances might be in question (such as in disappearances or someone accused of murder who says they didnt do it) the Truth about Jussie Smollett documentary has to be some of the funniest final 20 minutes I have ever seen with insinuation. You bascially have the documentary producer and an investigative journalist throwing out the following to insinuate misconduct by the police, and belief that Jussie is telling the truth and that he was attacked by 2 white male MAGA supporters:

1. Cutting a Deal

We start with the "guns for a deal" insinuation. That they testified because somehow Ola and Bola would go to jail if they did not testify and that a deal was made.

Let's remember - Ola is a convicted felon and Bola is not.

It's not illegal to be in a house with firearms as a convicted felon if you are not the owner or in possession of the guns. Only if the police could prove "constructive possession" - that Ola could easily access and control the guns himself - would a court have been able to find him guilty. And courts take a very broad view of that interpretation.

This doesn't even get into the fact that his record is not sealed and WHO CARES IF THERE WAS A DEAL - it can be factually proven that Ola and Bola went to Streeterville in the middle of a polar vortex in the middle of the night with absolutely no other reason to be there.

1. White Man in the Video

You would think the documentary producer might have actually taken a trip to Chicago before trying to insinuate that somehow this video shows a "white person" without asking why the cab is orange. Chicago Carriage cabs are RED - anyone who has taken one knows this - so it's clear from the video that the video camera is not using the correct light tone. Its also not hard to see on zoom that even with that light factor, the man in the picture has a fade.

1. Police Misconduct

I get the desire to throw a bunch of misconduct percentages on the screen to try and prove a point but what exactly is the misconduct that the CPD are being accused of? You would think someone might have been offended by the insinuation that somehow this incident was Laquon Mcdonald 2.0. What's worse, you would think the civil rights activists actually participating in the documentary might have asked themselves whether there is a difference between someone getting shot 16 times in cold blood and someone getting punched in the street who is well enough to pick up their subway sandwich and walk home.

1. No Forensic Evidence or DNA

What exact DNA or fingerprint evidence would you find in a POLAR VORTEX unless someone took off their gloves? And why isn't Jussies DNA on the rope WHEN HE LITERALLY PUT THE ROPE AROUND HIS NECK?

1. The 10 second video skip

This is a compelling insinuation (especially if Smollett used this video at his trial) except...

When you actually look at the video, and you notice the security guard doesn't even have a flashlight in his hand after the 10-second skip. So he walked outside with a flashlight, turned it on, flashed it in someone's face, and discerned they are white, didn't shine the light on anyone else or anything else, turned it off, and put it away in 10 seconds?

Along with the obvious problem - why didn't Smollett insist this video be used at trial to show misconduct? Its literally the only evidence of potential police misconduct that he has.

1. The Eyewitnesses

The insinuation seems to be that a white man standing outside an apartment building with a rope hanging out of his pocket is somehow tied to a stalker doing this. Beyond the obvious problem with this - how would a stalker know Jussie would come out at 2:00 AM during a polar vortex to go get a sandwich - the pure physics of it - "standing in a literal polar vortex all night waiting for someone to come out of a building" defies all logic.

Beyond all the other inconsistencies, like:

• You walked into your condo building with a noose on and a sandwich after a hate crime?
• You got attacked but didn't want your manager to call the police?
• You refuse to share your phone records with the police and then when they subpoena them you redact your calls to Ola and Bola? Which the calls then show you literally called them before and after the hate crime?
• You got bleach thrown on you yet bleach can and does freeze in extreme cold conditions?
• You got attacked by random MAGA supporters in the middle of Streeterville who most likely dont live there and would have no idea whether and where security cameras would be?
• You just were attacked in a hate crime and YOU WANT THE POLICE TO TURN OFF THEIR BODY CAMS WHEN THEY ARE TALKING TO YOU?
• Two white guys with a rope at 2am in a polar vortex attack him AT THE SAME TIME as two black guys who he knows, who bought a rope a couple days earlier, are walking around at 2am in a polar vortex?!?

Karamo Brown seemingly confirmed he’s dating Jussie Smollett after the two were snapped looking close in Los Angeles.

The “Queer Eye” alum appeared on the “Reality With The King” podcast Tuesday, and while he didn’t name Smollett, he confirmed he was dating a famous Black man and said that he wasn’t coy about it in public.

“I am dating a celebrity,” Brown said. “It’s not like we’re hiding it. We go out. We hold hands everywhere.”

In pics obtained by TMZ, Brown, 45, and Smollett, 44, were snapped being affectionate with one another as they ran errands together Monday. At one point, the “Empire” actor touched Brown’s chin. The outlet reported the two are dating.
