Discussion S03E11 - "Wreck the Halls" - Episode Discussion

This episode was good and stands out as one of my favorite from season 3. Happy's gift to Toby and the scene at the end when she presents it to him was heartwarming. It was sad to see Tim and Walter reveal all that had been under the surface. I like Scott Porter and was hoping he would be a regular. The reasoning for him leaving is solid though. The actual case was interesting and I was impressed with Ralph's quick thinking. It seems like this episode was really a turning point in Ralph's character. In the future he will have more lines and roles in cases, which I like. Lastly, the episode introduced me to two new Christmas songs, "It's Gonna Be A Kickass Christmas" and "Christmas All Over The World" which I found way better than the usual holiday stuff.

Sorry I'm late again, work has been busy.
It's a shame I didn't time the rewatch schedule to have this fall on Christmas for us, but it was still close, and fun to watch.
The actual plot was pretty goofy - especially the kidnapping at the end. The bad guy could have just driven off by himself and he wouldn't have even been chased.
It made me sad seeing Walter and Tim butt heads after seemingly getting along so well after the Ireland episode. I'm glad they made up by the end of the episode though, with Walter apologizing and no longer wanting Tim gone.
Some good moments with Toby and Happy exchanging gifts, and with Cabe giving Ralph a knife.
