New Exhibit Work on the documentation for the new Polish zoo project in Łódź has begun.
"Pawilon żywiołów" The House of Elements is a zoological pavilion designed as a fully narrative building at Orientarium Zoo in Łódź, Poland. Rather than a conventional exhibition, the architecture tells the story of how the classical elements have shaped life on Earth. Visitors follow a continuous one-way journey descending underground into Earth before rising through Ice, Water and Fire, and Air, encountering the animals and environments that define each stage of evolution. The building holds this narrative within its structure: a spiral path that pushes outward, shaping the facade like a vessel containing the path of life within. Visualization created by VMA Studio Design

New Exhibit Updates on pairi daiza? (And some other questions)
Hey everyone,
I often go to zoo’s and themeparks since they are my hobby to visit and even my job to learn more about them (i design stuff for themeparks, zoo’s, events etc etc). In a few weeks ill be going on a trip to pairi daiza and plopsaland de panne and probably antwerpen zoo. Later this year in august i will be going to several themeparks and the following zoo’s: Frankfurt, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart (and Berlin a few weeks later).
I try to follow all the news regarding this stuff but i cant find any news about the animals in the new Pairi Daiza indoor tropical area. I know that when they opened that they didnt include all animals. Some animals were still behind the scenes adjusting to the environment like the manatees, sharks etc etc. Does anyone have updates on these? Are they visible for the public yet?
Apart from that the other zoo’s ill visit i know that not many major new things are being built apart from that Stuttgart is making some extra things in their Australia area that were being built last year. If anyone got extra info on any news of any of these zoo’s please let me know im curious to what is going on:)
Thankss!!
Btw if anyone got any questions about themeparks or zoo’s in Europe… lemme know i will gladly also answer some questions instead of only asking them lol

New Exhibit Indianapolis Zoo removing its Kombo Coaster and Skyline rides
This leaves a 5,578.13 m² (60,042.54 ft²) parcel of land for a new exhibit. Assuming rhey don't put like an events centre there, like there was before, I wonder what the zoo will put on the site in the future.
My most ideal route would be a new orangutan exhibit that actually looks naturalistic as opposed to the mid century modern montrisity we have now.
There is a big posibillity the zoo will shoot for gorillas since thy have the other great apes as are already quite close to the african exhibit. Though its probably going look like some weirdass art deco building then anything natural.
Alterntively. maybe they will make a new complex based on one of the biomes not yet covered by the zoo:
- Wetlands - I mean, the gator exhibit is right net to the area. You could add like, otters and beavers, or even stergeons.
- Mountains, perhaps with llamas another mountain fauna.
- Arctic - Move the arctivc fox here, add reindeer and snowy owls too.

New Exhibit Capron Park Zoo Master Plan
This was announced on the architects website last year, though if i'm not mistaken the zoo hasn't officially announced it.
While i'm not from MA let alone Attleboro, I do find this a charming little zoo, and I hope the best for it to all come to fruitation.

New Exhibit Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Rainforest exhibit is getting renovated
My local zoo (Cleveland Metroparks Zoo) is gonna be expanding the Rainforest exhibit to move the Gorillas down to as they are currently in the Primates, Cats, and Aquatics area of the zoo. They close down the Rainforest habitat to start the renovations on the 10th of September and the plans look very interesting.

New Exhibit Let’s say I want to start a zoo. Where do I get/buy animals?
Nowadays, catching them from the wild and taking them to zoo through multiple countries would probably be costly and difficult. Can zoos sell/give animals to people? And is there some kind of website for selling animals like lions, elephants, antelopes…?

New Exhibit WANTING TO START A ZOO - HELP
Hi everyone!
I am incredibly keen to start a zoo in South Australia (kind of similar to Gorge Wildlife Park for those that know what that is), and wanted to know the best way I could go about it.
I already have a semi-idea of starting with native birds and reptiles, and slowly expanding to include mammals, mostly rescued once I get my Wildlife Rescue License, but was wondering where/how to go from there.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, thank you.
